Surely his position is now completely untenable?

Chewbacca Wed 06-Jul-22 21:38:22

He's unhinged! The man is actually unhinged.

Esspee Wed 06-Jul-22 21:36:52

If he fires everyone telling him to go then there can’t be enough Tories left to fill all the empty positions.

Esspee Wed 06-Jul-22 21:35:08

Can’t believe he’s fired Gove.

Devorgilla Wed 06-Jul-22 21:29:08

It will taste all the sweeter when the moment to pop that cork comes. And come it will.

Looks like the ice needs to go back into the freezer to keep it fresh sad.
Maybe tomorrow?

Shinamae Wed 06-Jul-22 20:24:35

Maybe this time the slippery piglet is going to end up as bacon!,

rosie1959 Wed 06-Jul-22 20:20:02

I suspect the champagne may be flat before he resigns

H1954 Wed 06-Jul-22 20:19:48

No Boris fan here! I suspect that Pincher was the bloke who caught Carrie giving BJ a bj, hence he retained his job. I bet Carries family are really proud of her track record too, what a legacy "I gave the PM BJ a bj" ?????

Mrsdigitalis Wed 06-Jul-22 20:14:24

Are there any Boris fans out there, or are they in hiding

MaizieD Wed 06-Jul-22 20:10:02

Kandinsky

He’ll go.
A new & better leader will be in place within a few months. Someone with integrity. They’ll reunite the party & country & the Tories will win the next election.

Surely anyone hoping for a Labour win next time would be praying Boris stays grin

Who do you suggest, Kandinsky?

'Someone with integrity' excludes all his current Cabinet for start. Not that any of them would be suitable, anyway.

Farzanah Wed 06-Jul-22 20:07:37

The problem is that the majority of the Tory MPs didn’t have enough “integrity” to get rid of him during the last few months when it was clear that by his behaviour he was unsuitable to lead the country. They are deserting now to save themselves.
I don’t respect the quitters at all.

Kandinsky " Surely anyone hoping for a Labour win next time would be praying Boris stays "

Some might, but i believe that many, in fact probably most people wanting Boris out, right across the political spectrum, are more worried about the damage he personally has done, is doing, and will continue to do to the country and our whole political system if not stopped.
Right now, getting him out is far more important and urgent than getting another party into government.

Iam64 Wed 06-Jul-22 19:54:11

Don’t judge others by your standards
I want a Labour government. I want Johnson gone, he’s a liar, a charlatan, self seeking narcissist.

And I can see the pigs flying past my window at this very moment….

? Happy Birthday chough.
I think it’s a tadge early to celebrate yet as they’ve got to prise him out.
I saw him at the Liaison Committee and he seems completely detached from reality.

Devorgilla Wed 06-Jul-22 19:23:07

Champagne on ice here too. Coro will have to wait until tomorrow.

Chewbacca

His position has been untenable for a long time now but the bugger just doesn't know when to quit; he's convinced that he's an indestructible super hero. Some might call it a form of madness.

Still smirking too!

Wheniwasyourage Wed 06-Jul-22 18:55:35

Happy birthday choughdancer. Good luck for getting the wonderful present!

Galaxy Wed 06-Jul-22 18:50:52

Drank not stand hmm

Galaxy Wed 06-Jul-22 18:47:29

I am so irritated with myself I stand the left over bottle from New Year at the weekend. I really would have waited if I have known.

grannylyn65 Wed 06-Jul-22 18:47:22

To whom are we referring?

vegansrock Wed 06-Jul-22 18:45:52

Perhaps all those cabinet ministers are planning the leaving party.
