......... because they cannot manage to behave themselves and be polite to one another. What a shower. And they want to run the country.

Sorry - title should have included the word debate of course!

Well, as it makes no difference to most of us because we have no say in who gets the job, it might give Sky viewers the chance to see something interesting. Let the ferrets take their sack elsewhere and get on with it. We'll just have to wait to be told who we're getting anyway.

The Tory party realised they were shooting themselves in the foot! Whose benefit was it for? I’m sure the Tory MPs will have made up their minds anyway. Then the very small membership will make the final choice. Pointless exercise.

I'll be interested to see the actual voting figures when it goes out to the members as I seriously doubt whether they have anything like the 200,000 members they talk about. Matthew Parris ( ex Tory MP) puts it at nearer to 100,000

Yes I understood that membership was a tad over 100k

The tory party were concerned that none of the candidates were coming across well.

Indeed we do have no say but it is an opportunity for us to know who we might be getting - and the fact that they cannot discuss their views in an adult, professional manner speaks volumes.
