Definitely John Smith. I knew a few Tory voters who would have voted for John. Such a shame

I’m another who agrees. When I read the heading, John Smith was the name that immediately came to my mind.

I liked him too. I believe he would have been a good P.M.

Blondiescot Tue 06-Sept-22 18:43:35

I'm in total agreement with you. I've always said John Smith was the best Prime Minister this country never had.

I am not a very political animal but I read a lot and try and understand what I can.

I always felt John Smith would have been a strong leader and was hoping he would become PM.
Had he lived I don’t think Blair would ever have been PM.

Who do you think would have made a good Prime Minister?
