If this was a natal born woman standing for election would it be acceptable to tolerated.

Sheffields prospective Labour MP

Any man using womens spaces is ignoring boundaries and consent. So if men dont do that I dont associate them with anything.

FarNorth Wed 26-Oct-22 01:13:25

The OP is a picture of Izzard, so of course it's a reflection on him.

The offensive musician could not have made it clearer that he is male, by stripping off.
My point is that all transwomen are men and the pretence that they are women should stop.

Wyllow3 Tue 25-Oct-22 23:52:10

Look at the OP.
These associations cannot be anything but deliberate, since the subject of this thread is Izzard and a selection process.

FarNorth Tue 25-Oct-22 22:57:16

I didn't mean to associate Izzard directly with the offensive stage act.
However, what those two people have in common is that they are both men and it is nonsensical for anyone to claim that they, or any other men, are women.

Wyllow3 Tue 25-Oct-22 22:47:51

My concern is associating Izard with any trans woman at all that someone finds offensive or ludicrous or whatever.

And therefore damning by associating.

Like any other group of people, it’s easy to find an extreme example to make a hostile point.

No I don’t find the example remotely funny. I just don’t lump people who happen to be from a minority group all the same is all.

JaneJudge Tue 25-Oct-22 22:40:21

maybe part of autogynephilia is having fake boobs to play with whilst having your lady penis, I don't know. I have found all this more disturbing than anything else as it is in plain sight

I didn't remotely find it entertaining and I am pretty open minded ..

Galaxy Tue 25-Oct-22 15:36:15

Oh Sally Hines is hilarious.

FarNorth Tue 25-Oct-22 15:10:48

Dearie me, the things people say on twitter - female penis confused

Apparently, Sally Hines is a Gender Studies and Sociology academic.

Looks like he thinks he’s got a chance of being chosen.

I don't think so.

did you read the article I posted upthread?

FarNorth Sun 23-Oct-22 22:24:17

I've seen that misogynistic exhibitionist on twitter, heavily 'bleeped' because of the profanity, but with his full frontal display clearly on view.
It's being called 'iconic'.
I've complained to Ofcom about him.

I wonder if any of the supporters of transwomen, on here, will stroll by to tell us we simply lack a sense of humour.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 23-Oct-22 17:47:28

This is why many women cannot vote for the Labour Party

I don't know if anyone watched Friday night live but the transwoman performer did a very masculine display involving derogatory lyrics about being better than a woman and having tits that wont sag and stripping naked and playing the piano with 'her' dick. Apparently it was empowering

I have just seen it.

Shocked at the cheering and clapping from the audience.

Totally disrespectful to women on so many levels.

Anyone saying that he is a woman needs to give their head a good wobble.

nanna8 Sun 23-Oct-22 11:46:04

Empowering or overpowering?

Nannytopsy Sun 23-Oct-22 11:40:37

It was certainly something JaneJudge but I don’t think that’s the word I would use!

Correction: local MP Blomfield.

Wyllow3 Fri 21-Oct-22 22:35:25

For goodness sake, just read this as its a pretty accurate description of local views and where selection candidates stand

www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/18/journalist-paul-mason-joins-labour-race-in-sheffield-central

Izzard doesn't have a lot of local standing compared with candidates reckoned to be favourites as well as who /blomfoed the current MP, strongly favours.

The article also gives ACCURATE information about all women lists.

FarNorth Fri 21-Oct-22 22:01:01

Here's another man getting massive attention for pretending to be a woman.
Dylan Mulvaney.

"Biden welcomes trans TikToker to Oval Office after she HE sparked controversy for saying she HE will be a mom one day"

He's standing for selection as a candidate, Monica, not as an election candidate. I do hope that it's not on an all women shortlist...

What is the Labour Party thinking of?!
This man Izzard is neither funny nor a girl and I doubt very much he would be useful to Sheffield as a serious politician.
I do hope he will be rejected.

Iam64 Tue 18-Oct-22 08:04:22

Thanks Doodledog.

I hope you're ok, Iam. flowers

I don’t see Caitlin Jenner’s”look” as having got the look as a woman, right.
Dolly Parton does a great blond bombshell look but Caitlin looks like Bruce in a frock
Apologies for being unkind. I’ve had a tough day

FarNorth Mon 17-Oct-22 18:39:14

At least Bruce Jenner sees that male people should not be in girls' and women's sport, as does René Richards btw.
