Beggars belief!

I heard that he's also in another reality programme about the SAS - or am I getting mixed up hmm

Perhaps MikeT is fed up with living in the shadows and wants to be someone in his own right.

Tindall won 75 (?) caps for England at rugby and was a member of the World Cup winning team. Then he married a minor Royal.

I don't think he is worried about being "someone in his own right".

Lots of NHS staff are going to vote for him

Aveline Sat 05-Nov-22 12:27:55

Blossoming you may think this programme is past its sell by date but millions seem to disagree with you!

Blossoming Sat 05-Nov-22 12:22:50

I’m sure there will be some who think that his mere participation is an insult to the Royal Family.

He may not be ‘a senior royal’ but he is the Princess Royal’s son-in-law.

I think there will inevirablt be more comments about him IF he comes out with "royal" stuff. If not, he is just like anyone else.

Blossoming Sat 05-Nov-22 11:53:51

As someone mentioned earlier, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more comment about Mike Tindall taking part. He may not be ‘a senior royal’ but he is the Princess Royal’s son-in-law.

Flicking through Apple News this morning I see Ulrika Johnson and various other D-Listers are kicking up a fuss about what they see as Matt Hancock’s ‘attention seeking’. They are not just commenting, they are ‘fuming’ and ‘seething’ while they seek attention by slagging of a fellow attention seeker.

This sorry excuse for ‘entertainment’ is long past its sell-by date.

The country is short of money so why does the government not pursue the umpteen billions lost in furlough fraud and the umpteen billions lost in corrupt cronyism giving lucrative contracts for PPI which did not work and so many other scams perpetuated by the Tories and their chums during the pandemic?

Frankie51 Thu 03-Nov-22 18:33:01

I don't mean the landlord !

Frankie51 Thu 03-Nov-22 18:28:20

One example was him giving contracts for vital equipment to his cronies . .I remember his local pub landlord getting one .A lazy, stupid man.

Frankie51 Thu 03-Nov-22 18:24:17

What a self serving idiot! No respect for his constituents .No respect for all the people who lost loved ones due to his incompetent management of the pandemic when he was Health Secretary .

semperfidelis Thu 03-Nov-22 18:22:39

There's a difference between sitting MPs, like Matt Hancock, and those who have already stepped down from their post, like Ed Balls. Why don't MPs have job descriptions which commit them serving their Constituencies and attending debates in the Commons? After all, they earn about £85,000 per annum!

Hope he gets the trials every day. Would like to see him retrieve the stars that are guarded by crabs.

They’re saying he won’t have to do the trials because he had trench foot when he as in another tv show ( which I didn’t know about).

He has already recorded for Celebrity SAS which is not due to be released until 2023, apparently the producers of SAS are miffed that he is going into I'm a Celebrity before their series is released.

katy1950 Thu 03-Nov-22 15:02:43

I'm going to vote for him to do all the nasty bush tucker trials

He'll have to pay for an expensive divorce (like many of us have)

Mishy Thu 03-Nov-22 13:52:10

I hope he does every bush tucker trial, stays to very near the end and is booted off.

Gwenisgreat1 Thu 03-Nov-22 13:38:25

Is he short of a bob or two?

I just cannot understand how MPs can just up and off when Parliament is sitting and still be paid.

This!

I agree LuckyFour. Far more beneficial at the time to say 'this is what you should be doing'.

LuckyFour Thu 03-Nov-22 12:32:26

It's so easy to sit here and criticise, not so easy to do the job and make everyone happy. Whoever is in power is always mocked and made fun of. Could you do better, it's impossible to please all of the people all of the time, as you know.
One thing I hate to hear is the phase 'what they should have done.......'

Watch out for this Christmas' pantomine 'Tories in Wonderland' starring Doormat Handjob as the Joker. All very dark. Which Elf is on the Shelf? Will MsTruss have a cameo role? And Leaky Sue could Bravely go where no Home Secretary has ever gone before. The Angel funding this production is obviously Rish!'s wealthy family. the King has already learned his line. Oh dear, Oh dear.

I knew there was a script in this political debacle.
