Should salaries get docked if an MP isn't doing their job?
I think that would be an excellent cost cutting measure.

I’m rather annoyed that Sky News pointed out that other MP’s have been on Strictly and cited Ed Balls being in it. But didn’t point out that,when he was on it ( to the best of my knowledge) Ed was no longer a serving politician. Whereas Hancock and Dorries were MP’s at the time.

On Twitter, lots of NHS employees promising to vote for him to do lots of ghastly tasks; just hope it doesn't backfire in some way and people end up feeling sorry for poor little Mattie. You can never underestimate the intelligence of the voting public........

He's MP for West Suffolk which to my knowledge is not in Norfolk. The initials NFN don't apply to Suffolk residents.

Mike Tindall has already appeared in a couple of reality shows, The Jump and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, so it’s nothing new.

We always say that 'this year', in an effort to stay current, we will watch the Jungle from beginning to end. We usually give up by Day 4 - anyone else?

I didn't know about Mike Tindall. Interesting.

Like them or loathe them, many of the people going in the jungle this year are actually names I've heard of. Apart from the reality Love Island wannabee. Some strong characters too, so could make for interesting viewing.

Isn't it time that MP's had to work like teachers and only take their holidays when Parliament is not in session?

Yuk. MPs should be banned from taking second jobs, especially in parliamentary time. It’s not as if the country’s in an economic / social and environmental mess or anything.

Oh he must be crackers (or desperate!) I imagine the voting public will chose him above everyone else to do the trials - I would think he's about to have a very rough time 😯

Mike Tindall isn’t an MP paid for by the British public.

So he’s still taking his MPs salary, couldn’t he just donate that pro rata for the time he’s not doing his job!

I've just heard that he's doing this for charity. Obviously I don't know for sure if that's true. But if it is, why on earth is he doing it?
