I haven't seen anyone say she wasn't discriminated against, but I may have missed that.

What people are saying is we don't know what happened. There is a political angle to this, that's for sure or it would not be all over the papers. Someone sold/told them the story. If the complainant feels someone has broken the law, she can take them to court. I don't hear of that happening.

Otherwise, if it is not a case of law breaking then two people misunderstood one another. There will come a point when people realise it is not worth discussing that.

I'm sure we would have heard more about this as violence against women worldwide was the reason this meeting was convened.

Let's hope, when this furore dies down somewhat, we will hear more about this event, its purpose and achievements.

The only thing that does define whether a law has been broken - as with rape - is a court. Are you saying a law has been broken?

Other than that, you will not stop people having an opinion. Whatever you call them, whatever you try and portray as a truth other people will have their own opinion and that will translate into votes and those vote into laws. You cannot control others, and neither should you be trying to.

You are not right. You may not have your own truths, and neither can or are any of the rest of us. But we can have opinions and you will never stop that.

I think it’s about time this whole incident was put into perspective. I an a white British woman and it is not unusual when holidaying abroad to be asked where I am from.Five years ago we moved from London to a village in the NorthWest of England. We are often asked where we are from and when we reply London we are then asked what part of London and then told they thought so because of our accent. Should we feel that we are being abused because of the “North-South” divide or that our accent is being mocked. Of course we don’t it is all part of normal conversation, unless of course we want to think there is a hidden agenda to the questions.Ngozi Falange was invited to Buckingham Palace because of the work she has been doing. Would this have happened if the Royal Family are as racist as we are made to believe. Any comparison between this incident and the Duchess of Sussex’s reports about her experiences should not be made as we do not and will probably never know the truth. It is also quite insulting to say that Lady Susan Hussey must have Dementia. This is a most awful illness and people should not make remarks about who is suffering from it unless it is true. If it is true then the poor woman and her family need our sympathy and not the vitriolic comments that have been aimed at her.

Just to throw something new into the mix. It transpires that Lady H may be hard of hearing. If so then any kind of conversation in a noisy crowded room would have been difficult. The frequency of the human voice is one that cannot be clearly heard above lots of background noise. With so many people close together and shouting at each other maybe both women were struggling to hear clearly.

And the thing about your funny antidote is that, once you explained where you were from in London, the questions stopped. For Fulani that was not the case.

You experience shows very well how a white woman was asked and her answer accepted, while a black woman was asked and her answer not accepted. That is the racist part of this incident.
