Just been released.

Lots of black and white footage.

Kisses, laughter, tears.

We don’t have Netflix, so shan’t be watching it.

I don’t get the bit about “not allowed” to respond.

Ilovecheese Sat 03-Dec-22 13:10:19

Well said Jess20 and Keffie12

GrauntyHelen Sat 03-Dec-22 13:08:30

Even if I had Netflix I wouldn't be watching

Keffie12 Sat 03-Dec-22 13:06:30

I'm one of the apologists, another poster mentioned who is now along to comment.

The media and everyone seem to think they can discuss, lie, be racist and use vitriol on them daily, yet they aren't allowed to respond 🙄🙄🙄

They are doing far more for causes in the world than any RF member. We don't hear about those in the mainstream media as that doesn't suit the media dialogue of vitriol

Me bad,me really bad,I hope it is a hatchet job ,might open eyes here if it is.They are entitled to tell their side of their story ,even Andrew got to do that !
I'm not a monarchist so if its really awful I'll be laughing my head off and thanking them

Time is long past for royalty ,its a medieval concept not fit for a modern world .Divine right? I dont buy that!

Divine Right hasn’t existed since the execution of Charles I.

It's possible they have a point, there does seem to be institutionalized racism in the RF's household. Unlikely that Lady Hussey deliberately set out to cause offense but from what is reported it was a very inappropriate and out of touch way to welcome an invited guest at a formal function. Surely staff should have been better trained, which is what the lady who raised the issue suggested. While older people may not be as aware of current ideas about race as the younger generation, there's no excuse for putting them in front of house positions and allowing them to embarrass themselves by causing offense to others. It was in this context that Harry and Meghan are very likely to have suffered significant racist abuse, particularly the sort of micro-abuse that can easily slip under the radar. They may be winding people over here up with the American style approach to putting their story forward but that is absolutely their right and it follows the challenges made by The Princess of Wales who was also deeply distressed trying to live in that regime. Why always attribute negative reasons for the couples attempt to share their story? They have been badly treated - according to a retired PO they have even received credible death threats by right wing groups and they are not entitled to state funded security. They probably feel most unfairly rejected and maligned by the British. I can't watch it as I don't have Netflix. I do however support them in wanting to have their say.

Yes she will get a baft for this one lol I’ve got Netflix and got better stuff to watch with my time. I did watch the other show that they did and that was just lie after lie like being married before we all watched it etc lol

What I don't understand are pictures of her crying !!! I think the last thing on my husband's mind if I was so upset would be taking a picture!!!!!!!!

Harry didn't take the picture. Netflix have filmed this.

HannahLoisLuke Sat 03-Dec-22 12:26:34

I do have Netflix but won’t watch this. I can’t bring myself to watch the latest series of The Crown either, although I enjoyed the earlier ones. I did watch the last series and hated it. Didn’t like the actress who played Diana and didn’t want to relive the Charles and Diana meltdown. For the same reason I don’t want to watch a version of the H and M meltdown either.

I read that too Chestnut and I think Sparklefizz that Harry's poor family will be running as fast and as far as they can, in the opposite direction.

Sparklefizz Sat 03-Dec-22 11:44:10

H&M might "reach out" (how big of them!!) but everyone else will be running in the opposite direction. When somebody shows you what they are, you have to believe them....

Perhaps the release of the trailer was designed to coincide with the Wales’ US trip, but even Meghan wouldn’t have planned it to come out the day after the Lady Susan Hussey debacle!

An absolute gift to Netflix!

Maybe she was a plant?

Poison ivy, perhaps!

Spec1alk Sat 03-Dec-22 11:29:10

My thoughts exactly grannygravy . I think they want to be celebrities by any means!

Lostmyglassesxx Sat 03-Dec-22 11:25:30

Nothing that comes from the world of MM can be believed -

I have just read that 'H&M will reach out and repair relationships with the RF - once their Netflix documentary and tell-all memoir come out' (quote).

I really can't see how anyone could trust them ever again. It would be like walking on eggshells. Are they writing everything down that you say? Would you dare have a private conversation with them? Would any comment or question about one of the children be misread and misquoted? Well I just couldn't bear it, so family get-togethers would be very few and far between for me.

This.

I thought Divine Right of Kings went out of the window when we chopped Charles the First’s head off. Whoops wasn’t he Scottish!

It didn't last long.

It was a European idea, introduced in the reign of James I of England, the VI of Scotland and disappeared along with Charles I.
The French Kings continued with the idea but look what happened to them too.

What’s does she mean: nothing. It’s just her throwing something in to make you think that there is something at stake.
She throws this meaningless rubbish around all the time.

It’s just a tag line for the Harry and Meghan movie😂

Ps I'm English. An immigrant.

Not in Scotland then? Or Wales?

Yes, Wales too
Can't speak for Scotland or N Ireland.

It's a common mistake, I'm used to it.
"Where are you from, England?"
"No, Wales"
"But Wales is in England, isn't it?"

That's good then Call. How appropriate today.

People ignore your country and make assumptions about you but you just let them off with it. Too much of that been around.
