As long as he was spending his own money, and not the tax-payers', on something he really wanted and thinks worthwhile, then he and anyone else may do as they please, as far as I am concerned.

Toyah Wilcox reportedly had a facelift after doing I’m a Celeb some years ago and when we next saw her she looked 20 years younger (and still does).

She definitely had a facelift. I read a book/article (can't remember which) she wrote about it.
