Another week, a further scandal!

Just how much money does Boris Johnson need to live on? School fees are no longer a priority, his divorce is long over yet this man needs money. Under the Nolan Principles holders of public office must avoid placing themselves under any obligation to people or organisations that might try inappropriately to influence them in their work. Even a modest loan would prevent a junior public servant failing vetting due to fears of blackmail, yet here’s the most vulnerable member of the UK government (at the time if the loan) evidencing he can be bought for cash! And this weekend Johnson spends more of the taxpayers money on his 5th visit since the state of the war, to Ukraine, not at the request of the PM, but because he is trying to spin the headlines, again.

Every and all times that Johnson feels under pressure, he goes on his holiday to Ukraine. The people there have no real idea as to what he is and the damage he has done to the UK, believe their media that he is great. He laps up that worship.

Indeed, one of the surest measures of whether he feels under pressujre in UK for his misdoings (many of them quite illegal) is this running away to this poor war-broken country. Wish they could keep him there.

Maybe he is visiting some of his distant relatives?

To borrow John Crace’s headlines

The Tories are drowning in sleaze.

It started with the Cameron government, when he tried to buy off the ERG with the promise of a referendum, which in turn was won through fraud and lies.

Each scandal, from the Russian report to partygate to taxgate to dishonest contract-gate to fleecing the tax payer of billions of £’s to downright dishonesty and criminal behaviour has been largely swept under the carpet.

Sunak is so weak that he is unable to even sack his party chairman, who when asked to go simply refused.

Yet we totter on watching as everything falls down around us.

Perhaps he's trying to broker a deal between Ukraine and Russia via his Russian contacts in the KGB. BJ and his cavalier attitude to the truth + his constant need for funds makes him a very loose cannon.

Do we have an extradition treaty with Ukraine?

As someone else commented: Sunak has instructed the Ethics Advisor to investigate Johnson's interest in conflicts.
