Lee Anderson tells us what the Conservative Party will stand on at the next election

You can see where he is coming from. He is being honest as they don't have a political platform. So what did '30p Lee' tell us ... Culture Wars! As he tells it we will have Culture Wars and Trans debate, but Trans is a culture war so we are down to just Culture Wars.

No one is actually debating the subject. Should we laud him for being honest or stunned at the stupidity? I think that, although he should be kept well away from government, you have to give a very small cheer for honest stupidity.

I don't think he's stupid. I think he's targeting the lowest possible denominator. Why encourage people to think about serious issues when you can distract them issues that are of no consequence to most people's lives.

He certainly knows what will win some people over vampirequeen, but is this the cleverest answer to someone when asked what platform the Tories will stand on at the next election?

I don't think he's stupid. I think he's targeting the lowest possible denominator. Why encourage people to think about serious issues when you can distract them issues that are of no consequence to most people's lives.

I think we should speak of the general population with more respect and, of course, we are guilty of virtue signalling, presenting ourselves as wiser and more compassionate and kind than those we look down on.

I have personal values and if that means I'm labelled a virtual signaller, so be it! I have no intention of abandoning those values just so that I can go along with the rest (if indeed the rest do have different values).

I despise the "culture" which Lee Anderson seems to advocate.
