Before today passes into history, a shout out for the "hot equerry" , 39 year old Jonathan Thompson
As somebody commented "Move over King Charles, you're blocking my view of your equerry"grin

I was completely attracted to his shy appearance.

I put in a shout for him on another thread on Saturday because I had seen him interviewed on a number of occasions and he comes across as lovely chap as well as being rather good looking. He was the late Queen’s equerry also. He exudes calm! I’m sure his lovely wife must think all this attention is hilarious😊.

Oreo he was the bloke walking behind the king, at the end of his train, keeping an eye on the page boys holding it.

Pleasant looking, but nothing special.

Hilarious, but yes, I do wonder what the reaction would be if similar comments, including "they can undress me any time" were directed at a "hot" female participant. Funny old world, isn't it, but objectification has to work both ways. wink

Isn't it wonderful that we can still admire good-looking men no matter how old we get? I live opposite a football pitch and must admit I enjoy watching the young men playing!

I have no idea who he is either.

Well, he is OK wouldn’t go any further really.

The Hot Equerry sounds like a wonderful title for a Jilly Cooper novel

It’s the kilt and the sword…

Grandma70s Sun 07-May-23 22:27:33

I didn’t notice him. Nice enough, but nothing very special.

Not fussed about him but his wife looks gorgeous.

Oreo

I didn’t notice him yesterday either and I watched the whole shebang.

I don’t know how you missed him, he was in nearly every shot.

He’s rather gorgeous and looks fab in a kilt!

A woman working with my brother asked "is the dishy kilt man available to help with any dressing? I'll offer up my frock" smile

You mean that wasn't actually him? blushblush

Grannyben Sun 07-May-23 21:12:29

That's the one Jaxjacky. I can't do links.

M0nica

I thought he looked pleasant, but nothing special.

Agreed, and uniforms never do it for me. Anyone who wears a badger's face on his nether regions is a bit too much for me.

This one Grannyben

I think he’s gorgeous, but rather more importantly, he’s a huge asset to the royals.
