Open warfare in the Tory party

I’ve lost count how many factions there are currently in the Tory party, but every time I read or listen to the radio etc, there is another Tory belonging to another faction criticising either another faction or the prime minister.

They are taking huge chunks out of each other, it is fascinating to listen to.

One wonders which paper will support which faction.

I'm wondering, is Braverman on manoeuvres and wanting to be sacked?

As home secretary she occupies one of the Great Offices of State and yet she's openly questioning her own government's policy on immigration - like it's nothing to do with her!

She's fretting about immigration but her party has been in power for 13 years and she is the home secretary?

That’s faction no 1. Characterised by the far right NAT CONS. Which originated in the USA. Trumpian to the end. Yes she is definitely making a play for leadership.

I don’t get why she thinks, having been eliminated in the second ballot last time, that she has any chance at all if there were another Tory leadership election. She’s not even the darling of the right, Boris Johnson is.

It's curious that it was OK for her to go to Cambridge and have a career. Presumably she's a member of some superior clan.

WWM2, I am listening to Iain Dale on LBC and the National Conservatism group is being discussed on Cross Question. If you go to podcasts and look for Iain Dale Cross Question should come up. Tim Stanley DT is on tonights panel together with other political people. Can I suggest you listen to it, so we can other peoples understanding of it.
