When Prince Harry gives evidence in the Mirror phone-hacking trial on Tuesday, he will become the first senior royal to be cross-examined in court since the 19th century. Based on what happened earlier in the trial, it is unlikely the prince will enjoy the experience.

Ivy Cottage where Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are raising their family is in the grounds of Kensington Palace.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's current residence in the UK is Ivy Cottage, where they are raising their son August and their future second child.
Ivy Cottage has a lot of significance for Princess Eugenie, as it was the first home where she lived with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, in 2018. The couple briefly lived in Frogmore Cottage when Eugenie gave birth to her first child, August Brooksbank, however, they now are reportedly back in Ivy Cottage.Ivy Cottage is reportedly a "small three-bedroom property.

Nottingham Cottage - 2 bedrooms - is a bit small for Eugenie now she has had another baby, isn't it?
Good job it's another boy. They can share a bedroom.

Ivy Cottage has also been mentioned, also in the grounds of Kensington Palace. Maybe there's more space there. Must be nice to have access to all these "grace and favour" residences, although to be honest I don't envy any of them their lives living in a goldfish bowl. .

Your final sentence contains exactly the speculation, supposition and ‘knowledge gained from the media’ that you have accused others of NanaDana.

Apparently he was staying in Frogmore Cottage, a Royal residence on the Windsor estate, on which his Father served notice on him to vacate back in January, following Harry's publication of the book "Spare". Harry has now returned to California. Frankly, after his appalling and hypocritical attacks on the privacy of his close family and friends, I'm astounded that he is being allowed any such leeway as regards continued access to any Royal residence. I think that a more appropriate reaction to the book would have been to put all his personal effects into bin bags, leave them on the front drive, and change all the locks.

Princess Eugenie and family currently occupy Frogmore. They could well have invited Harry to stay as they have made several visits to the US and are friends with H&M. The whole RF isn't estranged you know.

No they don't, Glorianny. They vacated Frogmore last Summer, and moved into Nottingham Cottage, which is in the grounds of Kensington Palace. More recently, they alternate between that London residence and a luxury property in Portugal, related to her husband's business venture. The move out of Frogmore was made late at night, in darkness, to avoid publicity, and took place after a stay of only 6 weeks. So your "friendly invitation" to Harry from Eugenie and Co. is just a figment of your imagination, I'm afraid. As for the whole Royal Family not being estranged from H & M... really? Inside knowledge, or just supposition again?.. Can't imagine they'll still be on any of the Royals' Christmas card list, as even the children's birthdays are now being ignored, according to the media.

The king is going to have his work cut out trying to prise Andrew out of Royal Lodge.

.

eazybee Fri 09-Jun-23 17:56:46

The papers are still saying Charles evicted H & M. He didn't ; he simply declined to renew their lease, as they had only used it for a few days following their move to the States. I believe the intention was for Andrew to move in but he wants to stay in Royal Lodge.

Doesn’t your last sentence apply to you too?

Self-control just isn't a thing anymore certainly not for Harry.

Ivy Cottage is in the grounds of Kensington Palace. This, allegedly is where the Brookesbanks are currently residing, having left Frogmore Cottage some time ago.

The Brooksbsnks are living at Ivy Cottage.

At least they were a couple of weeks ago.

Where’s Ivy Cottage? Ambridge? 😂

I thought they’d relocated to a swanky place in Portugal for Jack’s job although they must have returned to the UK for the baby’s birth.

I wish the 'press' would back off, and let us see the results of true journalism, which is what they are paid for. but lets face it, the stories sell newspapers

I had to laugh this lunchtime, we asked to sit at a table under a parasol in a French restaurant, and told the waiter our dog was well behaved and didn't bite. He asked his name,
H
and then replied, he has better manners than your prince then! grin

Sorry!

The King presumably loves his son despite what has happened and is setting a Christian example.

Did the King actually serve notice or simply decline to renew the Lease? I presume you know the facts?

Yes, a Christian example.

And perhaps the King is (seemingly rightly) worried to his son's mental health and wants to be his support if his MH declines.

Parenting doesn't involve estranging ones children over upsets.

Or the King wants to stop more lies coming from his younger son.

It’s reported that Harry has returned to California. I hope he stays there now and keeps himself quiet for a while.
We’ve had enough.
