Is she actually at Holyrood? She only mentioned yesterday that she would be back this week.
So many unexplained anomalies in SNP accounts. The mobile home paid for in cash for example? The missing amounts of donations in cash? More to come too. She'd be better to withdraw discreetly but that's not going to happen.

Video emerges of Tory Party HQ Party during lockdown
(156 Posts)A video has emerged showing some Conservative Party workers drinking and dancing at a Christmas party in December 2020 during the Covid pandemic. At the time, Tier 2 restrictions were in place, which meant that people were banned from socialising indoors, except with members of their household or a support bubble. Socialising at that stage of the pandemic was limited to up to six people in a garden or at a pub with outdoor seating. As the drinking and dancing goes on, one of the partygoers is actually heard saying it is OK to film "as long as we don't stream that we're, like, bending the rules". Clearly they knew exactly what they were doing, and this "do as I say, not as I do" hypocrisy is at the core of the Johnson- inspired culture of entitlement and elitism which has consistently treated the public with such contempt. The Police investigated the incident in November 2022, but no charges were brought. The Conservative party "disciplined" four of the attendees. Surely this now needs reviewing in the light of this new, damning evidence?
Anniel Nicola Sturgeon is still at work in Holyrood .There is no evidence that suggests she ,her husband OR their accountant did any wrong .
IN FACT the accounts were passed BY westminster and cleared and the usual payment made to Scotland as to the other devolved nations .
Perhaps you might consider this IS a witch hunt ,MS Sturgeon has worked her wee socks off for the people who ELECTED her for more than half her life .
The tories on the other hand are crooks liars and thieves and its all been done in plain sight and provable
You must all understand that members of the party are also extremely upsets the sheer stupidity of these people.People accept that the next general election will see Labour in government. That is democracy in practice. I have no defence for these people dancing and cavorting around. However, i never see anyone asking sbout the scientific advice given to the govt. That sdvice was followed which is understandable as they were the “experts” Nobody ever questions advice by such eminent people. Politicians, even Swedish ones, do rely on expert advice. So why does nobody query that? My other belief is that in the case of the party held by Labour in the area of Northumberland where the police excused the curry and beer party not many people turned a hair. And I do not understand why not a word is spoken on Gransnet about the SNP fiasco in Scotland. I just hope Labour will trounce the SNP in the upcoming general election. Nicola Sturgeon was plain wrong in supporting the Trans lobby regarding the law. Most Scottish people did not support that and then the financial story which came out and Nicola resigned. I thought that she was a canny politician but this episode ended her career. Every time I bring this subject up i am told it is sub judice. Not for the national press who devote lots of space to this matter. I think our Scots posters who have lots to say normally have successfully agreed not to discuss this uncomfortable news. So how about giving us all your opinion on this important news story.. The Tories are finished and i wish there was a general election tomorrow, although there are some good MPs. My only reservation is that Sir Keir is no Tony Blair and maybe they should have chosen Wes Streeting who is an interesting and smart politician.
Disgusting behaviour - arrogant self-absorbed idiots taking us for fools. Prime example of "them and us".
Me too. Just seen clips on ITV of BJ saying before it came out with tone of absolute certainty. "There were no parties" in PMQT.
Makes my blood boil.
I wonder how many people (and I don't mean on GN) still see Johnson as a 'man of the people' - an image I believe he began to create and embellish when he realised how popular he was with the red-wall voters, etc?
Do people really believe he was... trigger-warning - I'm going to use the 'B' word... genuinely passionate about Brexit? For all his bumbling and mumbling and faltering over words, he's an intelligent - and articulate (in print) man, He understands full well how Parliament and governments function and, as he once indicated, he also knows that many of the nation's problems are and were home-grown and not the fault of the EU. Yet he approached our exit with the zeal and passion of a dedicated Euro-sceptic. But only in an outwardly flamboyant, role-playing manner. The grunt work, the nuts and bolts of it, the hours of poring over details - he left to others while he trotted around the country donning hi-viz jackets and safety helmets, protective footwear and aprons - 'getting down' with industry and commerce for innumerable photo-ops! Not to mention hiding in the odd fridge if it looked like things weren't going strictly to plan.
Then along came Covid... a real fly-in-the-ointment if ever there was one. I don't think initially he had a clue how to deal with it nor took it too seriously. I honestly think he saw it more as a bloomin' great spanner in the works, a huge hurdle thrown in the way of attaining his personal ambition, rather than a threat to the nation's public health and wellbeing, which is why he dithered in the initial stages, and only began to get to grips with it when others made him aware of how serious it was.
I think he 'partied' simply because he wanted to. Whatever rules were in place at the time were broken because he is not a man who gives too much thought to 'obligations' and constraints, and seems rather surprised when anyone suggests that such restrictions should apply to him.
I think he'll garner a lot of support from those in the 'anti-lockdown' camp, but as many were / are also anti-vaxxers, I don't know how they'll square that with his enthusiasm for the vaccine rollout.
But for those who lost family members to Covid and who were prevented from being with them; those who were not able to attend funerals and other family events and occasions... I don't think they will easily forgive him. And neither will I. Not because I was confined to hospital room no bigger than a broom cupboard virtually 24/7 for months, but because my disabled partner who has no living family member in this country desperately needed to sit with me for half an hour - for us just to be together for a short while, so that he could reassure himself that I was getting better and that eventually I would come home. But like so many thousands of others, he had to suck it up because the rules at the time didn't allow it.
Why would anyone vote Conservative? I just cannot understand why they would.
Liars and gutless the lot of them.
Michael Gove won’t sign the Partygate report vote and Rishi Sunak 3 times avoided the question, when asked if he would be signing. They weigh up if it will be in THEIR interest to or not, not whether it is the right thing to do.
Selfish, entitled, pompous ba*****s every one of them and the sooner they are gone the better.
Disgraceful. Sadly not the only ones to have behaved appallingly, the others were just never reported. Heartache to watch for anyone who lost someone to Covid.
They are only interested in themselves, they don't give a damm about the people they should be representing.
Every single one of those involved should be sacked, with none of the perks they get and enjoy.
Disgusting people 🤮
How some people can have such a short memory of BJ and say he was the best thing since sliced bread is beyond me. This partying is awful though.
I wish we could have been trusted to behave appropriately without legislation.
Full of arrogance and entitlement in this photo when the majority of us were doing the right thing.
I really want the Tories to implode ASAP
Shameful.
ronib I’ll pm you later as going out shortly.
"on behalf of Shaun Bailey's Mayor of London campaign."
This gets ever more horrific.
Today the BBC has received a copy of the invite “Jingle & Mingle” for this disgraceful event. At this time it was illegal to socialise indoors with an even stricter instruction issued in the following days. Disgraceful!!!
Oh - Jingle and Mingle.

maddyone hope you don’t mind me asking but are you suffering from any effects of long Covid?
maddyone
The rules re socialising were brought in to protect me and you. Whatever others were doing didn’t really affect you. If they wanted to put themselves into danger then that was up to them. I was too busy being ill with Covid in December 2020 and then being hospitalised on January 1st 2021. I didn’t care what anyone else was doing, I cared about getting better.
I don’t get what you mean maddyone? If what others were doing didn’t affect you, nobody would have caught Covid in the first place? By breaking the rules and socialising the risk of infecting others was increased, which potentially affects any random person you happen to pass in the street as well as those closest to you.

It is all over twitter.
Miriam Margolyes posted “Twats”
Which just about sums up the whole Tory partySounds about right for her. She is a vile, foul mouthed old crone.
Indeed she is!
Perhaps, but 100% right in this instance, no?
I expect more of politicians and people working with them. I don’t dismiss this kind of contemptuous rule breaking by saying ‘they’re all the same, all lie’, or asking ‘would it have been any different with Labour in power’
Johnson set the tone. This is the shoddy result
What I hadn’t realised was that external attendees were there too, I’d assumed it was all Tory Party support staff. It was obviously all planned in advance.
