Delila
Greta, I don’t recall any special exemptions from the rules being awarded to the younger and fitter members of the general population, they were subject to the same restrictions as the rest of us. Young people suffered a lot from their inability to meet up with friends and socialise - the effects linger to this day, I think.
I’m really referring to the confidence apparently felt by the people in these videos and photos, that they were safe. Where did that confidence come from? It wasn’t shared by most of the rest of us.
Delila, I’m speculating, as the mindset of people such as those who attended this party is a totally foreign land to me, but I suspect that their reasoning may be rooted in the sheer arrogance and sense of entitlement which clearly encouraged such appalling behaviour. These shallow, asocial creatures probably thought that they were so special that they were somehow invulnerable, and that the virus would simply pass them by. I do wonder how many of them actually became infected, passed it on to a perhaps vulnerable relative or friend, and were around to see a terminal outcome. With friends like that…etc..
