My DS had something like this just after Christmas. Was off work for two months while they tried different antibiotics and gave him steroids. So short of breath he couldn’t talk. Ended up in hospital on oxygen for five days. Eventually, after further testing found out what the bacterial infection was, gave him the appropriate antibiotic and he recovered very swiftly after that, although full fitness has taken a few months to achieve.

Just shows how flipping nasty some of these infections can be. I hope she is well again soon.

I'm sorry to hear that. She is the same age as me and I've followed her progress over the years
