I do feel that Biden should step aside - for the sake of the US.

Posted too soon nHe can still be president even if he’s in jail, though.

He can’t pardon himself from any state, rather than federal, conviction.

Lifluf

The trouble is that all these lawsuits take time. It is quite possible that he will be president before they complete them. Then he will pardon himself. What a system!

The Washington Post ( no fan of Trump) predict that he will definitely be the next president.

As I understand it the judge has taken away his business licence.

Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case he’s done for I think. Apparently a due debt of $300million is coming up in 2024.

Both Trump and Biden are too old. Is there no one honest to take over? Probably not. Without the backing and pots of money you get nowhere in politics. Perhaps that’s why Trump has also been accused of lying about how much money he had.

Sounds like pots and kettles to me when he's saying that about anyone else, let alone a judge.

These charges have been a long time coming. He is clearly without scruples and morals.

So, Trumps request that Judge Chutkan recuse herself from his trial relating to the 6th January insurrection has been turned down.

Judge Chutkan has been presiding over the 6th January trials, and has been handing down stiff sentences for those found guilty of what could have potentially resulted in a civil war in America.

It is expected that Trump will appeal, but I’m not sure on what grounds.

The second set back this week and one that has the potential to topple Trumps entire business empire is the ruling by Judge Engoron that there is no doubt that Trump committed fraud in his business activities particularly in relation to raising loans and lying to banks etc about the value of his assets, in particular his property.

Trump said Engoron is deranged.
