So apparently two Hamas terrorists entered Jerusalem at the western side side of the city where there are no checkpoints and shot dead two Israeli citizens. The terrorists were then also shot dead by either the army or the police, I’m unsure which.
Didn’t Hamas feel they had killed enough people on 7/10?

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 30-Nov-23 10:55:09

They will never feel they have killed enough.

ExDancer Thu 30-Nov-23 10:55:20

It seems their goal is to kill all non-believers, starting with the Jews.

maddyone Thu 30-Nov-23 10:57:07

I feel this will do nothing to promote peace.

Cadenza123 Thu 30-Nov-23 11:03:32

Until there's some sort of negotiated peace there will be no let up for anyone in the region.

Smileless2012 Thu 30-Nov-23 11:07:19

Why weren't there any check points? I'd have thought after 7/10 they'd be on high alert.

maddyone Thu 30-Nov-23 11:19:23

I don’t know Smileless but it reported that the western side of the city doesn’t have checkpoints.

AGAA4 Thu 30-Nov-23 11:26:06

They killed 3 people waiting at a bus stop. Senseless and provocative during a ceasefire.

OldFrill Thu 30-Nov-23 11:30:51

The gunmen lived in Jerusalem as do tens of thousands of Palestinians, under very restricted conditions. They were apparently known to be affiliated with Hamas.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 30-Nov-23 12:27:03

Hamas, its affiliates along with all supporters will not be content until all Jews are wiped from the planet.

I stand with the Jewish people

Nicenanny3 Thu 30-Nov-23 13:09:40

Terror attacks could happen here police say be on alert, we've let God knows who into our country, could be a lone attacker or a group. I'm 100 positive we have Hamas fanatics here.

Nicenanny3 Thu 30-Nov-23 13:12:01

I also stand with Israel and all Jewish people.

There are at least half a dozen similar groups in Gaza. The hostages are with some of them, not Hamas.
Which is why Hamas can't guarantee where these hostages now. Or the IDF, who are still bombing though less than before at the moment.
And how do you define hostages? The women and children being released from Israeli prisons have not been charged with anything, just locked up with no release

Your last sentence is untrue.

The majority, if not all, the prisoners being released were held under Administrative Detention, without charge and without trial.

So far out of the 180 prisoners released by Israel 52 had been charged and convicted and 128 were detained and/or waiting to go to trial.

OldFrill Thu 30-Nov-23 14:39:05

Quite, thank you, the majority, the vast majority were never charged. Their two tiered - one does not dare suggest apartheid - system of "justice" is inexcusable. They are arresting nearly as many as they are releasing.

I stand with some Jewish People, like some - but not all - of my Jewish relatives - utterly ashamed.

maddyone Thu 30-Nov-23 17:41:40

I don’t believe that all these Jewish people are ashamed as keeps on being claimed. I’m sorry, I don’t believe it. My Jewish friends do not support Netanyahu but totally support the Israeli citizens in their fight against terrorism.
How anyone can do otherwise eludes me, but I’m aware that it is so.

As explanation and without judgement - The Jews are fighting the terror that they feed. Their means to do so is the shame.
Simple.
