They will never feel they have killed enough.

It seems their goal is to kill all non-believers, starting with the Jews.

I feel this will do nothing to promote peace.

Until there's some sort of negotiated peace there will be no let up for anyone in the region.

Why weren't there any check points? I'd have thought after 7/10 they'd be on high alert.

The gunmen lived in Jerusalem as do tens of thousands of Palestinians, under very restricted conditions. They were apparently known to be affiliated with Hamas.

Hamas, its affiliates along with all supporters will not be content until all Jews are wiped from the planet.

The majority, if not all, the prisoners being released were held under Administrative Detention, without charge and without trial.

So far out of the 180 prisoners released by Israel 52 had been charged and convicted and 128 were detained and/or waiting to go to trial.

Quite, thank you, the majority, the vast majority were never charged. Their two tiered - one does not dare suggest apartheid - system of "justice" is inexcusable. They are arresting nearly as many as they are releasing.

As explanation and without judgement - The Jews are fighting the terror that they feed. Their means to do so is the shame.
