So is the column now the expected vote for 2024 Maizie and Casdon, with the coloured squares now showing where the votes have come from? I do hope it is as I am feeling very confused confused

Casdon

That still doesn't show Reform, unfortunately Casdon.

I didn’t make myself clear, sorry - I meant you couldn’t compare Reform with UKIPs performance last time, which would give some indication of how many new voters have gone to Reform.

It would have been very useful Casdon.

I posted a revised graph which he posted later in the thread, not the original.

Oh, okay. Did he comment on the revisions Maizie?

It looks like more people will vote than did in 2019, which is a positive, although non voters is still very high. One flaw of the graph is that it doesn’t show what the votes for UKIP were in 2019, so you can’t compare Reform with their performance last time.

There seems to be something wrong with the graph - apologies, I am not sure why. On the original the Conservative column is (of course) higher than Labour as it shows the 2019 votes.

If you click on my link to "X" you can see how it should look.

Thanks Maizie. It took a bit of unscrambling but basically ghe height of the columns are the 2019 votes and the squares are December 2023 voting intentions.

If you enlarge this graph you can see the hight of the column shows the votes in 2019 and the coloured squares show how they intend to vote now.

If someone can add this as a file I would be grateful.
