I’ve no time for the Clapham acid attacker. Her should’ve been deported back to Afghanistan at the latest after he was convicted of two sexual offences
I don’t believe he’d converted but - the Muslim burial could have been the wishes of those left behind
I once attended a Catholic funeral with Mass - my deceased friend rejected her religion but it was so important to her parents they disregarded it. She died unexpectedly so her final wishes hadn’t been established.

The DM reports that the Clapham attacker has been given a Muslim burial despite being baptised a Christian. I think that says it all.

This case highlights real problems in our asylum and criminal justice system. Offences against women and children are not treated seriously. Indecent exposure is a sexual offence and all too often part of a pattern of sexual offences - and domestic abuse.
I read about one asylum seeker (might have been this man) who claimed to read the bible daily. The immigration judge asked him what the Old Testament is about - Jesus Christ was the reply. He appealed the inevitable refusal of his asylum claim
It’s irrefutable that some asylum claimants use Christianity or gay/lesbian sexuality in order to claim asylum. Yet another reason we need to work effectively with other European countries and invest in our system.

The Court papers released yesterday show an asylum process in complete meltdown. Not only is this Government incapable of coming up with a fair yet robust immigration policy but it shows how simple it is for an illegal immigrant to stay here. Ezedi was refused asylum but there does not appear to be any system in place to make sure he was deported. By the time he applies again he is a sexual predator but he and many like him, know how to play the game so he finds Christianity. That will look good on his asylum appeal. What a soft touch this country is, falling for this over and over again. How many more like him are on our streets?

Sexual predators don't simply decide on a whim to become one.He most certainly was one when allowed into the UK. A good liar obviously, but not good enough, and should have been deported ASAP. The outcome for this poor women and her children would have been avoided, some blame must be attached to the immigration process where a liar, proclaiming to be a Christian convert, most definitely he wasn't, used this as a ploy to stay in the UK. We have enough home grown predators without importing more, and allowing them to stay on a fabricated lie. So disgusted by this.

I agree with you, Callistemon21! There is nothing more nerve wracking than having to keep looking over your shoulder to ensure your abuser is not waiting for you. It makes the whole world seem like a frightening place.
