What the hell is happening to this country?
Send these scum to Rwanda ASAP.

Totally sick of these violent criminals being allowed to stay here.

biglouis Fri 02-Feb-24 11:29:34

Potentially we have imported an army, fed, clothed and housed them. It’s not going to have a happy ending. I do not believe multiculturalism is working in the UK

Those on here who are defending these people need to wake up and realise what is happening. Until then you will find yourself shuddering over and over again every time one of these horrors is reported

Why should we pay to build more prisons to keep all these people who have come from all corners of the world? We have enough of our own criminals

Agree 100%

I expect a human rights lawyer on legal aid thought that one up. Just like this crock of was advised to say he’d become a Christian and go to church a few times so the vicar would speak up for him.

*We have many many home grown violent criminals, there are good and bad people if ALL nationalities*

We do indeed have enough of our own problem people, no need to import any more! And in this case let them stay here when they’ve already committed an offence.

Honestly, no wonder this country is in the state it’s in. Too many ( mostly left wingers / liberals ) making excuses for these scum.

Could not agree more - well said.

I have seen no-one making excuses for this man's actions.

They are just pointing out that he has not done this dreadful thing because he is an immigrant, but because he is a human being, who is likely mentally ill.

MissAdventure Fri 02-Feb-24 11:25:26

Yes.
He had formed a meaningful attachment to it, it was said.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 02-Feb-24 11:24:21

Not to mention the human rights laws which enable them to stay here. Remember the man who wasn’t deported because he’d acquired a cat?

Luckygirl3 Fri 02-Feb-24 11:23:54

No-one can defend this dreadful act - it is appalling.

But appalling acts are perpetrated by many human beings, regardless of their country of origin. This has not happened because he is an immigrant, but because he is mentally ill.

A 3 year old has been brutally attacked, 3 year old

MissAdventure Fri 02-Feb-24 11:10:20

We all have to tiptoe around the elephant in the room these days.

Chestnut Fri 02-Feb-24 11:05:43

There are always people defending the indefensible and that is the problem. We will never be able to implement sufficient controls and punishments as long as people keep doing this.

No-one ever said that all immigrants are criminals, what a ridiculous thing to say. But as I pointed out, there are thousands with mental problems being lost. Where are they? Would you like your daughter to come across one of them in the throes of a mental breakdown? All they have to do is make some pathetic excuse and they are allowed to stay.

Why should we pay to build more prisons to keep all these people who have come from all corners of the world? We have enough of our own criminals.

MissAdventure Fri 02-Feb-24 10:34:49

Has anyone said that all are criminal?
This one, however, is.

Callistemon21 Fri 02-Feb-24 10:34:37

Hear hear, maddyone
He was convicted of crimes after being given sanctuary here and why on earth should claiming to have become a Christian be a reason for him to be allowed to remain here?
Being Muslim is not a reason for anyone to be deported.

Whoever made that decision needs to be dismissed as the grounds for granting the appeal goes against everything our multicultural society should stand for!

He should be deported after completing his sentence, no matter what his fate in his homeland.
He gives a bad name to others seeking sanctuary here and people are naturally afraid and apprehensive.

oven cleaner!! premeditated to cause the maximum damage to a mum and her children

I am so glad this piece of s**t had oven cleaner on half his face, I hope he gets to feel what hell is like

vintage1950 Fri 02-Feb-24 10:32:13

A horrible, vile act and this man should not have been granted asylum, given his previous conviction. However, how does the case of this individual mean that all asylum seekers are criminals?

karmalady Fri 02-Feb-24 10:30:13

except I should not have said animal, animals don`t behave like that.

Usual vile comments being trotted out, I see...

I think what’s vile about this case is the throwing of acid at a mother and her two children and injuring other people in the process. Injuring them with acid! That’s what’s vile Maizie.
Your comment is unnecessary and totally devoid of compassion for the victims of this crime and instead you show sympathy to the criminal by way of disliking comments made by posters about the criminal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone saying that after this horrific crime he should be returned to his country of birth.

karmalady Fri 02-Feb-24 10:29:08

He bought and threw oven cleaner, what a vile vile animal.

Elegran Fri 02-Feb-24 10:25:32

Sago

It is a disgrace that he was allowed to commit this crime.
Who do we have living here?
Potentially we have imported an army, fed, clothed and housed them.
It’s not going to have a happy ending.
I do not believe multiculturalism is working in the UK.

Multiculturalism has been present in Britain ever since the Romans got here, and was probably here long before that, with every wave of incomers to land on these shores. Our DNA is evidence of strains from many groups.

As each one arrived, the residents greeted them with a hail of suspicion, rocks, spears, insults, half-bricks and accusations of carrying out monstrous attacks which they themselves would not have committed - oh no, never, not us, it was them ! Then after a couple of generations, the incomers became part of the patchwork tapestry of cross-related residents and were confronting the next wave of newcomers with the same obstacle course.

I agree, he should not be allowed to stay here if he can't keep the laws, but don't extrapolate from that that ALL incomers should be banned. If that could be backdated, how far back would you go? A decade? 50 years? A century? Two? Three? Most of us wouldn't be here - our forefathers and foremothers would never have met.

It was a truly vile act!!

rosie1959 Fri 02-Feb-24 10:06:09

This man arrived here in 2016 apparently seeking asylum but then committed an offence of a sexual nature not really an act that would help his application. Why was his asylum then granted we are too soft. He should have been deported immediately.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 02-Feb-24 10:05:09

SKY news is reporting the details on its website.

12 people injured including 5 police officers and bystanders along with this poor mother and her 3 & 8 year old daughters. The mother and 3 year old have life changing injuries

Abdul Shokoor Ezedi pleaded guilty to sexual assault and one of exposure. He was sentenced on 9/01/2018 a 9 week jail term for suspended for two years. For his exposure he was sentenced to 36 weeks imprisonment to be served consecutively, also suspended for two years. He was discharged from probation supervision in 2020

After his sentencing he had a priest vouch for his conversion to Christianity, saying he was wholly committed to his new religion.

This man should have been deported as soon as he was found guilty.

Chestnut Fri 02-Feb-24 10:03:14

I think we all shuddered when we heard he was an asylum seeker Cossy because it's a story that is repeating over and over again.

Bring the world into your country and you bring the problems of the world with them.

We are bringing the whole world into our tiny country and that will eventually be our downfall.

People who jump in boats and risk their lives may be genuine asylum seekers seeking a new life, or they may be desperate criminals who have nothing to lose, escaping their old life. Then they are eventually lost in the system and who knows where they end up. There are thousands of them with mental problems and the authorities have lost track of them (this was admitted on the news last night).

Those on here who are defending these people need to wake up and realise what is happening. Until then you will find yourself shuddering over and over again every time one of these horrors is reported.

Purplepixie Fri 02-Feb-24 09:51:15

Oh I feel sick and I was so upset when I heard the news. Yet again we have to put up with something like this. He should have been sent back when he committed the first offence. It is said that he was allowed to stay after converting to Christianity. That should never have happened. What the hell is this country coming to. Love and hugs to the mother and her children and all those who were injured helping them. Evil!
