BlueBelle, how true. The other day I read a title which declared something damning whicht just made you want to read more only to find the actual text said something completely opposite! Only one version could be true.

We have a really good book called ‘Britain at War’which comprises photos collected by the Daily Mail. I think the constant snobby criticism of just about everything they do is not always justified and says more about the critics than what that particular group of journalists are guilty of. All newspapers, every single one of them, are ‘biased’.

It's less than two weeks since the revelation of the King's cancer. Surely only a machine could produce these 'books' in so short a period. Even Amazon should have smelt a rat.

The Express is actually by far the most prolific and most fanciful, they are obsessed with the royal family, and there are at least five or six ‘new’ stories about them every day on the website. I sometimes read it just for the laugh. 😆

It's not just the Mail. For reasons best known to itself, my smart(?)phone is constantly headlining trashy Royal Family stories that feature in the Mirror and the Express. They're as bad as each other.

It's good that they are taking this on, as they have the skills and resources to challenge the 'authorship'.

I'm not a Royalist by any means, but I wish the King well and agree that the use of AI to "write" these books is awful. As for the Daily Hate and it's brand of journalism? It's generally despicable. Divisive, hateful and aims to breed every form of spite and meanness it can. It should be confined to the tip, where it belongs. And for it's readers? Shame on you for being taken it by it.

But AI is not human. It is a computer. The scariest thing I read recently was a Computer writing a poem it hadn't been instructed to write.
Perhaps AI will be the Nemesis for the Human Race.

Seriously though, there is so much misinformation out there with all the speculation and 'facts' about the Royals I'm surprised they are so upset about AI. It does however bring up that question of how we control AI generally. The Royals are in the lucky position to be able to afford lawyers where as the average person isn't able to so if they can help assist in taking action which will protect people from AI then that is a good thing. Doing it whilst struggling with Cancer and subsequent treatment is not.

I don't see this as blackmail either. I don't think anybody has contacted the Royals and threatened to print unless they do something. It is just downright dishonest behaviour.
