How can you say that "their parents are never spoken of"?

We - and the rest of the world that is watching the events unfold keep talking about the men, women and children - civilians - who are being killed... and those who were slaughtered on 7th October by Hamas - not to mention the hostages who are still being held.

You seem to be saying that because people are shocked at the number of children killed and injured that it must mean we don't care about the adults?

But the deaths of adults are reported too.

For those who don't know, Ellman is Jewish and a Labour peer. She left the Labour Party when Corbyn was leader.

Why oh why must the children card be played ? Hamas are certainly playing it.

It's not a card being played, Anniebach, it's despair... that humanity can slaughter its children who, regardless, of the war or its cause, are entirely innocent, who don't know why they're being butchered by Hamas, or bombed and shot at by Israel. They have no say, no voice, they rely on adults to protect them... and it's just heart breaking. Do you know why it's so grievous, so bad? Because there is absolutely nothing that children can do about what is happening and what has happened to them, they are completely and utterly defenceless.

To suggest that being upset about children - both Israeli and Palestinian - being maimed and killed is playing a 'card' is below the belt.

However, the educated, sophisticated, very, very wealthy men are not the ones who put their own lives in danger. They rely on the youths to do that, of course.

So how does killing children and women defend the world against terrorism? Hamas doesn't care how many children, women, innocent Palestinians die. Why would they? I honestly don't understand your logic. Please explain.
