It's going online. I would imagine because that is where broadcasting is moving to. Podcasts and longtime programming are what people are tending to listen to. I think the today programme for example lost 1 or 2 million listeners over the last couple of years. People dont consume news in the way they used to.

It is such an interesting question. It would be good to know from those who have said on here that it is biased, which direction?

If the right wingers think that the BBC is too left wing and the left wingers think that it's too far to the right, then surely that suggests that they've got it correct?

Blatant political has worked for the BBC for many years.

Who do you think the BBC is biased in favour of?

Hopefully GB News will follow. It is dreadful.

When I saw it announced, I thought at first it was Talking Pictures TV, and I was sorry, because I love some of the old films and series they show.

Talk TV I discover I'd never heard of, so I won't miss it nor hunt it down online.

A question to those of you who have agreed that the BBC is politically biased, if that is o.k?

Which direction do each of you think it is biased towards?

I always watch Ch 4 news, but I also watch foreign news channels as well as British news channels.

I did look at the two mentioned in the op but honestly they were so awful.

? The right say BBC is too left, the left say BBC is too right. To me that implies it is not either, it just can’t win.

However, there are other mainstream alternatives, try ITV or Sky - or Channel 4, which often covers news that gets no airtime anywhere else.

I thought the same Sago

Talk TV - is to close because of severe losses.

I suspect that GBNews will be next as it registered 42million loss recently.

Message?

Blatant political bias is not popular.
