It was wonderfully magnanimous of them both to jet cycle across several states from California to Texas to kindly deliver a birthday cake. We know how sustainable travel is so close to their hearts, so presumably they would have found a way to get that cake there in a non- polluting way, so wow good on them! such a long way to peddle with that cake precariously balanced in the basket, maybe they even went on a tandem so Meghan could maintain that carefully placed hand on Harry's back, willing him to keep going!, but phew they made it! I wonder if they were somewhat perplexed to find that whole event was turned into a photo opportunity though, because cynics might mutter it was all for effect because other mere mortals may have employed a delivery from a local bakery and Skyped their message privately away from the media glare, but that's Harry and Meghan always willing to go the extra mile

I admire Camilla for the way she’s taken on being the wife of the king. She is very supportive of her charities and performs her public duties with dignity. It can’t be easy at 75 taking on this role.

No longer relevant is true.
A shame that Diana didn’t get to live and move on to marry Dodie, but I don’t think a lovely person she was described as being, would be happy to see her sons estranged from each other, or her ex husband suffering from cancer.

Maddyone I agree. Never approved of Camilla but she has redeemed herself as you describe. It’s definitely not me me with her. Quite the opposite.

She has never criticised anyone in the royal family, including no criticism of Princess Diana. She waited quietly in the wings, and it is said to be Charles who wanted to marry her. She accepted his proposal. Their wedding was entirely suitable for the marriage of two people who had both been divorced, unlike the massive, look at me, marriage of Meghan. Harry also wanted all the bells and whistles for his wedding that his father and country could provide, after which he and Meghan clearly showed their dislike, near hatred, of this country and Harry’s family.
