It’s not what the public want. Older people may still like him, but the younger voters don’t. It’s the right wing of the Tory party who are pushing for him to return.

Not only is Johnson not an MP but last summer, Parliament voted 354-7 to accept a report finding Johnson lied about Partygate and revoked his parliamentary pass so he isn't even allowed to enter the Parliamentary estate.

How does Lady McAlpine plan to get around that? Cabinet meetings by Zoom?

I like to imagine it won't happen but - as previously mentioned - David Cameron was handed a peerage AND a ministerial appointment. So, we never know.
