I like his silliness. smile

Me too and I used to live him on the radio on a Saturday. He always made me smile until the gaffe!

Guests included Lady Gaga, Tom Hanks, Ed Sheeran, Michael Buble, Helen Mirren, Lewis Hamilton, Adele, Sarah Jessica Parker. Benedict Cumberbatch, Alan Carr, The Saturdays. Stephen Fry, Peter Kay, Hugh Jackman. Gary Barlow, Ewan McGregor, Alan Partridge.

I wouldn’t describe the above as “Z lister celebs”.

Yes, too much personal info and I really just don’t care.

However, nothing wrong with bathing or showing just once a week if you wash properly on the other days! Better for our skin and bills and the environment.

It's probably not true. These people will say anything for publicity.

It is true, he was on the parenting hell podcast with his daughter and they were speaking about the frequency of having showers.

Newspapers are also known for printing rubbish!

I very doubt whether Mr Ross needs the publicity, he’s had a long career on radio and TV, is well paid and still working.

I’d disagree that his talk show only had Z list celebrities on it, it’s had a very long list of very famous and successful actors and performers on it. He’s not everyone’s cuppa tea, and can be rather silly.

The recent research is pointing the finger at all the highly chemical containing beauty
Cosmetics and the increase in cancerMaybe Mr Ross is merely highlighting less use.
However I agree too much information

MissAdventure Fri 05-Apr-24 10:39:09

I bet you'll be able to remember how often Jonathan Ross baths, though. smile

I have noticed that the DM appear to, if a slow news day, put some murder or other as a top story.
Clickbait I presume.

I looked up the murder rate in the Uk. Thinking it must be going up a lot. Cant remember exactly what the figures are, but I think the rate is either level or actually going down.

It's not essential to bath every day.

Good for them.

I expect people here were in the bath once a week too, growing up.

My thoughts too Kate1949

No idea who JonathanRoss is and I wouldn’t want to know the filthy beast. Putrid.

Jonathan Ross has had a long and wobbly career on TV as a presenter and interviewer. He has done some very stupid and childish things but can be sensible and a good interviewer when required. He has his own rather trashy TV show with 'celebrity' guests but mostly not people you'd want to see interviewed, Z list celebrities, rappers etc. I just wonder if he has a shower before doing the show, otherwise his guests will be overwhelmed.

To answer the question, YES, people share FAR too much personal information and I don't know why they would want anyone to know stuff like that.

I fully agree with you 100%!

They only shower once weekly? UGH! Gross! I just HAVE to shower each and every morning before work and on a Sunday morning when I'm off duty, and spray myself silly with body sprays and perfumes and minty breath freshener mouth sprays, and use lovely smelling shampoo/conditioner/shower gel! The Ross's must be ponging bloody awful!

Far to many of these ''celebrities'' share far too much personal information.

I would never ever tell anyone that my fanny was itching last night or I had sweaty boobs unless describing menopause symptoms, even then I'd be discreet about exactly what I say! But ''celebrities'' seem to think it's OK!

And a lot of them go out in public wearing barely anything and get away with it but if us mere fat ugly unfit mortals did it we'd be done for indecent exposure! HA!

No doubt many GN members have been uplifted and delighted this week to read that Jonathan Ross, and his wife, shower once a week. Having noted in passing that his mind and body are now in one accord, the next thought was that far too much that is trivial, and far too personal, is printed as if it were worthwhile news. Does anyone agree?
