Donald Trump a convicted felon

Do you think the jury will have to be protected? They surely had to find him guilty because there will be a paper trail won’t there? Will there be riots?

He will be sentenced 4 days before being officially announced as the Republican candidate for the upcoming Presidential election. He has been refused the opportunity to appeal. I suppose there isn't any point when the verdict was unanimous. Surely the Republicans will find another candidate. He gave a very incendiary speech after the trial casting doubt on the judge's ability and the state of America. Biden v Trump, both past their sell-by dates.

Apparently there’s nothing in their constitution which says a convicted criminal can’t stand for President and be elected, even if they’re in jail. I’m sure that’s not the case here.

Surely there must be something in the US Constitution which prevents a convicted criminal from becoming President!? 🙄
It beggars belief that a country of that size can’t produce a younger, more respectable candidate (Republican or Democrat).

He’ll claim that it was all a politically motivated stitch-up, and a lot of his followers will believe him.

Well he’s a liar, and evidently some people would vote for a leader who tells lies about at least one thing. That’s how things seem to be.
