Well he was right about all the boats coming in with illegals. He even was going to Dover 1st thing in the morning to count them and to say noone was stopping it. I dont think any other politcal person did that.

Maybe because other MPs were doing their jobs rather than going to Dover every morning.

He went in I'm a Celeb, and got through that ok. A bit surprising to me.
Like I say, I dont really get him.

Perhaps it is about money, as growstuff says.
An MPs salary is peanuts, compared to what some some of them could earn.

I dont get Farage at all.

I was expecting him to lead Reform. Or play a big role. But seems not?

Perhaps he likes to speak freer, rather than being tied to a Party?
Which may be better for the Country??

He’d get short shift in Scotland and I do agree there something off about him.

I have no time for lies and false information and he’s full of it.

I suspect Farage is more concerned about what happens to his own personal finances over the next five years than what happens to the UK's economy.

I expect we all are more concerned about our own personal finances

Nigel Farage is a disrupter but how far he can succeed is a guess. Also Farage makes a common mistake of believing what fits his narrative. I don’t find him any more creepy than other politicians.

Rather than focus on the unlikely chances of Reform being elected in 5 years, I’d like to hear what Farage thinks will happen to the UK’s economy in that period. All this constant jockeying for power is a bit exhausting to watch.

There’s something NQR about him. Not sure what. He reminds me of the school sneak.

Michael Heseltine is at the Hay Festival and he spoke about Reform and UKIP, saying that the common theme running through both parties is racism.

Farage was on QT last evening (again!) and frankly he was an irrelevance.

Farage speaks for the racist element (always denied of course) in the U.K. so will always attract a following.

Farage is a public enemy, but he's not stupid.

Last night, having nothing better to do, I watched Nige on Utube. He is quite savvy, creepy though he may be. He said the British election was already lost, Starmer will be returned as PM and the Labour Party will be on the nose after 5 years in power which is when the Reform a party will step in with an overwhelming majority. I actually think he might be right. He also thinks Trump will get in even with a guilty verdict and he wouldn’t say if he had been offered a post if and when he did. So Donald, his best mate, probably has something to offer there. Interesting.
