One of my dearest friends is a Hindu, a trained radiologist, her Hindu husband is a retired dentist. They live in a £1,000,000.00 house.

The Hindus generally integrate quite well, dressing in western style usually and not actively causing problems. Some others are continually problematic and deliberately not integrating.

It will be Preposterous if the tories are allowed to get away with claiming that Sunak's DDay gaffe "cost them the election". Brexit and the cost of living crisis, the appalling state of public services, the inexcusable mistakes made during the pandemic and the disastrous premierships of Boris Johnson and Liz Truss are what will lose them the election and they must not be allowed to forget it.

The very idea of them being able to say - Here's our new leader. We've got rid of that bunker-off of DDay parties, that disrespecter of veterans. all better now - is intolerable.

Sunak may be technically British by birth but his forebears are not. Many such people hae scant respect for traditional British values and culture.

India was a key part of the British Empire for well over 100 years. Perhaps you don't realise how much the British in India worked to inculcate British values and culture during that time It happened all over the Empire, Britain was the Motherland for all peoples ofvthecEmpire.

It sounds corny and cheesy, I know, and there were plenty of the native inhabitants who didn't buy into it, but it was enough to bring thousands of them to Britain post WW2 believing that they were as British as the next person and looking to be accepted by the old 'Mother' country.

Who knows why Sunak's parents came to Britain but it's entirely probable that they bought into the Empire myth and embraced British 'values and culture'. And where better to reinforce that than a British public school?

Doesnt matter where he is, his disgraceful behaviour in leaving France when he was the PM representing Britain will not be forgotten. To put election concerns and selfish wishes before the respect that should have been shown in France! We may not have a great choice but surely we do not have to choose a party that puts itself first last and in the middle, that makes rules that they do not apply to themselves and are prepared to lie and cheat to cover their disgusting behaviour. When we can see what a mess they have made and as for there levelling up!! Well at least for those wish short memories they can see just how they behave and remember that when they vote!
