The YouGov poll now shows Reform as only 1 per cent below the Conservatives. That should be enough to get some of the virtue signallers clutching hysterically at their pearls.

And, I’d be saying the same whichever government was in power - blue or red! If this happened under a Labour government I’d be writing to the PM, as a member of the LP, to express my disgust!

I shall follow their progress minutely and will set a high bar as far as my expectations are concerned, in every aspect of their government (if they get in).

In fact I expect much more of a labour government.

Sunak was obviously caught out by this question he obviously didn't have a deprived upbringing but it would have been simpler just to say so. He was just relating from his own experiences. His parents prioritised the childrens education and no doubt they would have had to cut down on things but not to the extent of deprivation.
He can still understand it without having experienced it

Sky didn’t become “mainstream” for another 5 years.

Wwm2 simple fact check Sunak’s dob 1980. Sky news first in UK in 1989. So as a boy of 9 years old, Sunak might have noticed that he was not as advantaged as some. His parents clearly watched their pennies? Or perhaps they didn’t value Sky News? Or both.

This article is a sad indictment of UK society 2024!

I hope the Tories carry on as they are doing right now, so that those people with short memories will only have to look at the appalling behaviour over these last few weeks to remind them just how little they care about anyone but themselves, or can be trusted to actually tell the truth rather than the lies, deceits, and dont forget the Boris version of laws. You make them for everyone else but dont think you have to comply with them and then lie about what you have been doing. Whatever they promise , we can all promise jam tomorrow , but tomorrow never comes. They know that they will not win so they can promise Pie in the Sky for the next 4 weeks they wont have to actually do anything! We are still waiting for the Levelling Up (ha ha !) well the levelling up was where we all paid money that all travelled down to the south east!

He’s a grifter. Allegedly 40.000 have, since he said he was standing for election, paid £25 each to Reform. That’s one million quid paid to a private company that Farage is a director and majority shareholder of.

Farage can't be bothered with politics- he just wants the attention without having to do any of the work. He is just a media muppet.

You can google bits and pieces of Reform policy. Economically they make little sense, he is relying on the migrant issue. On that, it includes the promise that the navy will turn boats back, I'd like to hear Navy comments on this!

The Independent is reporting that Farage has apparently cancelled his BBC Panorama interview with Nick Robinson.

I imagine he has flea bites from the Nazi appeasing dogs he’s whistled up.

He was challenged in one interview about some of Reform policies, and it was clear that he didn’t understand them.
