He'll probably have to eat his words!

Reform isn't a political party- it is a refuge for the desperate who have no where else to go. Bit like the boat people really.

best thing I've read in ages.

sorry that was in reply to DiamondLily. If it wouldnt pollute the ocean I could happily stick Trump and Farrage and quite a few others in a sack and chuck them in. Still , they think coming out with these appalling comments gives them some sort of support and to be in the news. So yes they are in the news, and hopefully it will make sure that nobody votes for them!

Good!

Was it W.C.Fields who said he liked children, but couldn't eat a whole one?

Surely Reform would do better to have less candidates but ones who can be respected. Farage/Tice leaving themselves open to ??? about their unchecked candidates.

I checked this out and it seems the "eat other humans" quote was in an exchange telling people not to eat horse meat in the US but to eat humans instead. It seems she's an animal rights activist. I imagine the eat humans thing was a deliberate attempt to be shocking. Not sure what she thinks it will achieve, not least because humans are animals too so if you object to meat-eating her remarks don't even make sense.

In short, she would seem to be a bit of a wacko.

Gribbin was accepted by Tice on the basis of a Zoom call - hardly vetting!
Agree as regards any party, BTW.

Dunno, but like the Greens, they are rushing out candidates everywhere in the hope they’ll do well.I think vetting procedures have gone out the window.

“Iris Leask is facing an investigation by the party which could derail her candidacy in West Aberdeenshire after a string of bizarre social media posts.
The computer company director, hoping to unseat Tory MP Andrew Bowie, called for meat-eaters to “eat other humans” and said humanity should be “obliterated”, according to the Mail on Sunday.”

After yesterday's revelations about Gribbin, Reform Candidate for Bexhill, supporting Hitler and saying women are "spongers" it may come as no surprise - why. on earth are these candidates not being vetted?
