No, acceptance of trans women isn't that they be treated like and identified as women. Acceptance of trans women is accepting the fact they see themselves as/believe themselves to be/feel like women.

That means the same thing and it is what it means to have real gender dysphoria, is it not?

In which case how can you accept trans women?

Do you know how many young people out there are being rejected and disowned by their own families for being trans? Something they cannot help or change about themselves? Something that has caused no harm to anyone? Something that changes nothing about who they are as a person?

Would you think it ok for those families to continue to deny their own children simply for not being the same gender they were before?

I wouldn't give even the tiniest crap if my children came out as gay, bi trans... All I care about is their life being happy and free from harm. Whether it's my child or future grandchild, or 2 doors down or in school or on the bus... I accept them

The main reason I accept them is for who they are because what is in their pants should never matter at all

Well the more educated among us know that a woman is an adult human female. Trans women are definitely human, most likely adult but even you can’t truthfully say they are female.

I actually take a middle road because I accept trans women as trans women, for many reasons that protect everyone's rights, ensure people receive the right medical treatment, ensure women's sports can be regulated fairly, the list goes on

But they are women in almost every situation except where I personally feel the trans identifier is needed for everyone's benefit, them included.

So tell me again, where is your "acceptance"?

At least there are those here willing to stand up and say they accept nothing about trans people... I can at least respect that as long as it doesn't come with belittling me for having a different view

This tiny minority of a minority group have caused out of proportion problems by declaring that transwoman are women. They want access to women's safe places, to go to women's prisons and compete in women's sports.
Until everyone agrees that transwoman are not women this will carry on.
VS thinks many of us are anti trans. I believe it is only those who declare themselves to be real women and demand that they are treated as such are the ones women need to worry about.
