The reason why you must vote

Checking the tactical voting forecasts for my constituency early this morning, I was slightly aghast to see two polls (out of seven or eight) showing Reform as the likely second party here. I don’t think they are accurate, although the anti-immigration vitriol I hear every day means it’s possible.

I would have voted anyway, mainly because I know it’s a privilege to be able to, but it’s a nasty reminder that every vote matters.

I vote because women had to fight to give us the right to vote.

I know Whitewavemark2, I've been explaining this to a couple of folks this week, hope I've done a good enough job!

Great idea nanna8. Let's buck tradition and have a huge turnout.

Some piles of 💩 smell worse than others, though. Perhaps he could choose the least smelly ?

So true WWMK2!

Mr PG has point blank refused to accompany me to the Polling station this morning, stating “They’re all a pile of 💩” and refuses to discuss politics at all.

I’m hoping the promise of a bacon bap might change his mind even if it means a vote for one of our no-hopers!

Voted, so I can go back to bed now! :-)
