Worse than pushing pensioners off the headlines is the fact that the deaths of those little girls has pushed off the headlines.

Absolutely.

One thing we can be sure of there will be no change to the decision regarding Winter Fuel Allowance, as far as pensioners go this Parliament has shown its hand nice and early.
Just wondering can the protesters elect for a trial by Jury?

dear me, the greed and whining on here.

3 lovely little children gone. Their families utterly devasted.

Parts of the country in flames.

I sometimes wish for a "like" button on GN. I agree so much and it's why I was (still am) so angry about any justification for the riots. Three little girls lost their lives and goodness knows what other life-changing injuries others have.

Spot on, kittylester
Those poor families are in utter grief and the people of Southport must still be very shocked.

These riots are not helping anyone.

I have been busy thinking about the design of my placards to take to march outside Parliament but my son tells me that it’s forbidden to demonstrate there. But not suggesting rioting for grannies…..

They are capable as are we of thinking at mor3 than one thing at a time.

That is a big assumption.

We've definitely gone way down the list of priorities, so I expect Rachel Reeves reckons that's the Winter Fuel Allowance fiasco well and truly sorted.

Pensioners' problems shoved onto the back burner, as per usual......
