Right Wing False Flag?????

(92 Posts)
Namsnanny Thu 08-Aug-24 20:01:05

Hope not Hate, Nick Lowles has apparently tweeted that the so called right wing marches were a false flag operation.

They were never going to happen.

In other words they lied to cause trouble.

Can this be true?

15 people at least from the ^opposing^ marches (left wing I suppose, at least those rallying against what they perceived to be a threat ) have been arrested.

So if true, does this mean our own gov. is driving the narrative??

Anyone else see something on this?

I am completely lost over this and cannot make head or tail of it.

Is the instigator saying that someone posted that some of the residents of the suffering communities who came out and stood in the streets with placards and effectively stopped much of last nights rioting, decided to join the other side and pretend to be rioters, to make the situation look worse?

If my understanding is correct. Could this vague poster tell us which towns this occurred in. Come to that could they identify the country. Lots of countries are dealing with rioting at the moment : Bangladesh, Venezuela, Kenya these crossovers could have happened in any of them.

👍👍

Nick Lowles is reported as saying this list was compiled by one person but he doesn't say who

If the far right put out false flags I'd rather the government acted with due caution instead of ignoring it, frankly for out safety and well being

I do expect tho that in the Cobra meeting today there will have been discussion with those who monitor Social media activity as to identifying sources asap.

NO it wasn't the far right putting out false flags.

Unless I am mistaken

If this is to be believed, the person Nick Lowles is from the left, and he was suggesting there was a plan to inflate the numbers of so called far right protesters.

I leave it to you to make up your own mind as to why.

Are you suggesting that the government was involved in this so called deceit.

That’s brave.

No not brave, and no I'm not suggesting anything. smile

I'm curious, and would like clarity.

I was just trying to explain the tweet to Wyllow3 so far as I understood it.

If you have read Petra post, she seems to have a good perspective on the man, so I'm going with her explanation (which is he tells lies) for now.

Good on glad you have found an explanation.

FGS whitewavemark2 if everyone isn’t a Pollyanna about events, or they’re horrified that a Labour Councillor stands ranting to a crowd in the street about killing the far right then that’s fine by me.
It’s not all about skipping through the glitter and drag queens and poetry.
Of course the wave of violence will be over at some point but it’s what happens before we reach that point.

Oh dear has someone upset you?

Really you would be much better to ignore my posts as I constantly seem to irritate you.

I mange to ignore yours it’s quite easy. 😄😄👍👍

Well, Knowles only ID'd one of the sources of threats very specifically:

That list which was a list of solicitors, their work address, their home residences, in order to encourage personal attacks on these people. Many but not all were Immigration Solicitors.

If Knowles is right on this, it's appalling and direct encouragement to direct violence to there - and their families. In which case the threat could not be ignored. it's bad enough to read social media encouraging attacks on Mosques but people in their homes? It explains why solicitors offices and other premises were boarded up.

I hope these posts will be traced and the posters arrested and charged.

I think it's Nick Lowles, Willow3

Sorry to nitpick but Nick Knowles helps people in need by renovating and changing their homes.

But the so called right wing marches did happen. Police injured, businesses wrecked, people terrified. The fact they didn’t materialise to the great extent feared last night doesn’t mean Starmer and his cabinet ‘drove the narrative’. Seriously?

Some people just don’t want to believe that the government dealt with this swiftly and effectively (imo). And that was partly because Starmer had prior experience of such events.

Not me MayBee70, but I'm sure you were just generalising. smile

Look, with the sort of febrile atmosphere we are experiencing in this country, there will be all sorts of stuff on line and elsewhere that alarms some people. This feeds into the fear and people are then wide open to all sorts of lies and conspiracy theories.
we can see it on here with posters from the right and even one or two who profess themselves from the left😏 continually trying to find reasons to remain alarmed and fearful.

This will pass.

We simply need to remain calm, vigilant and refuse to be sidetracked.

There may be a few more days of violence, and there may be more idiots whose mouth is bigger than their brain.

But we will prevail, I am 100% certain.

Yes, probably the best place to be.

I'd just like to get to the bottom of it.

Sago

Our local neighbourhood watch FB page had 2000 requests to join on Monday and Tuesday.
The page was then flooded with posts re the potential riots.
I warned the admin who was so thick he allowed them all to join.

Well I suppose all the local thieves will by pass your area from now on Sago, grin

Nick Lowles. A complete nob. Way back he wrote an article Re disinformation spread by social media. Yet last Saturday he did that very thing, claiming he had heard/read that an Asian woman had acid thrown at her from a moving car. 🤦🏼‍♀️
No such thing happened .

Ahh so are you saying he is likely misleading myself and others this time?

Forgot to say thanks for the info, it helps.

Of course we are pleased. Our families live in this area and we live and work alongside people with different skin colour to ourselves. We are mostly all the same though, love our families and friends and want to live in peace

It's quite the same for me too.

But questions still need to be answered if we wish to live in peace.

posted at the same time.

Well, I'm not bothering to second guess who does what where.

But you are missing a vital point H not H have a very sketchy background.

Do I like the idea my country is being misled intentionally, no I see it as gaslighting a whole community.

Also, of the 15 people arrested some were carrying weapons. I thought it was about stopping violence?

Tonight? Or were people arrested last night? London? Brighton?
Just to get things clear.

I believe it was last night.

All I can say is Nick Lowles at 7.25am 8th Aug posted something along the lines of

'Yes it was all a hoax - no lists'

Which it seems no one is the least bit bothered about confused
