Nick Lowles. A complete nob. Way back he wrote an article Re disinformation spread by social media. Yet last Saturday he did that very thing, claiming he had heard/read that an Asian woman had acid thrown at her from a moving car. 🤦🏼‍♀️
No such thing happened .

Do I like the idea my country is being misled intentionally, no I see it as gaslighting a whole community.

Also, of the 15 people arrested some were carrying weapons. I thought it was about stopping violence?

Our local neighbourhood watch FB page had 2000 requests to join on Monday and Tuesday.
The page was then flooded with posts re the potential riots.
I warned the admin who was so thick he allowed them all to join.

I completely believe that these planned riots could have been a “game” and that false intel was spread. I could also see that another set of dates and places is in “reserve” and that we will sadly see a return of the riots, although with such swift action being taken by the police and courts I’m not sure how many of these “brave patriots” will turn up.

I know what you mean, but it's not a very informative answer now is it?

I shall just have to wait and see if the usual channels report on it.

I do hope someone does, because it is a very serious thing to do to people who are already fearful and agitated.
