Yes, exactly. She's always been a very good writer, which is why I always like to read her articles, even if I don't always agree with her either.

I agree, galaxy, and that's why she's worth reading in my view. I don't need (or want) to only read what I agree with. It's good to have one's views challenged, or at least "rubbed up the wrong way".

Common sense abounds.

I do find her gasps, shockers galore so OTT that it precludes any pluses of awareness days, but the trouble is that we have so many now its hard to pick out the ones where real benefits gained.
Awareness days need not be as negative as she makes out. But as you say, her style has been forever deliberately provocative.
