Cambridge definition of fascism;
'a political system based on a very powerful leader, state control, and being extremely proud of country and race, and in which political opposition is not allowed'
'State control' arguably applies more to Democrats than Republicans.
'Very powerful leader' - well, Biden and Harris were both pretty limp but unless the US constitution changes, Trump will have only normal presidential powers, which have not, as I understand it, been 'fascistic'
'Extremely proud of country and race' - that's rather open to interpretation. Lots of Democrats, I am sure, would say they are proud of many of the attributes and traditions of their country
'political opposition not allowed' - well, it's the Democrats and their supporters who are whining about the process of democracy
I do not see, MOnica, why wanting proper policing, education, immigration control and an end to the promotion of transgender ideology is 'fascistic'. Arguably, much of the transgender stuff is anti women's rights.
The word 'fascist' is thrown around far too much, to denigrate the views of others and put anyone remotely 'right wing' (a description that itself begs definition, seeing as so much stuff that is now 'right' used to be 'left', as looking after the 'ordinary person) firmly off the moral high ground.
'Fascist' has the most horrible, extreme connotations of the repression and cruelty of the Nazis and it is not accurate, fair or productive to throw it around and demonise people.
