As does the punishment for these most heinous of crimes Galaxy.
The hopes that these sub humans get rough justice at the hands of other inmates are really no substitute for the surety of a dire punishment that fits the horror of their actions. To walk around, laughing, joking, drinking for four days with the dead body of the two year old murdered child is unbelievable in it's depravity. The rehabilitation part of a life tariff would seem to be impossible in such cases.

This is an interesting article on racial bias on decision making within the child protection services.

I tend to ignore the shouts of bigot these days, people did the same with regard to puberty blockers. The bigots were right.
I actually think it is a form of racism not to look at whether any issues relating to race or religion played a part in some cases. It puts those children at greater risk.
I have raised the issue that homes with a step parent in are statistically more likely to be risky for children. I am sure that will upset many people. Still needs talking about.

Why ask me?
I haven’t seen any racist posts on this subject on GN but then I don’t have a bee in my bonnet about it.
If you really see racism on GN threads then contact the moderators but to bring any grievances about race or religion into a thread about this poor little child is very, very low in my view.

growstuffI find your posts both tasteless and goady in using this terrible case to highlight some sort of grievance.

Using the brutal murder of a child to mock

*growstuff*I find your posts both tasteless and goady in using this terrible case to highlight some sort of grievance.

And I find the introduction of religion into the discussion about Sara Sharif as tasteless, goady and racist, but racism doesn't appear to set the pearls rattling in the same way that perceived tastelessness and goading does. Why's that Oreo?

And so it goes on and on. All the agencies now being alerted when, yet again, it is far too late to stop the barbaric treatment inflicted on those poor children by those people they should have been able to trust the most. I hope every day spent in prison is torture for both of them.

I agree, it’s beyond belief that this inhuman couple could treat their murdered child’s body this way.

PS. Sorry, Isabella's murderer wasn't her father, but her mother's boyfriend. It doesn't change the point I'm making.

growstuff Fri 13-Dec-24 18:45:30

Franski I was comparing with the reaction to Sara Sharif's murder. Of course, religion wasn't to blame in either case. I have no idea whether Isabella's father is religious, but we know that Sara's father doesn't have a faith. Nevertheless, religion was brought into the discussion about Sara's murder - I wonder why.

Not sure what you mean..? He's a white man. White, dangerous, inhuman, sick, deranged and merciless. Wouldn' t say his religion, if he follows one is to blame. I do wonder where the wider family was. The little girl's father says he misses her every day. But presuming he wasn't in contact with her every day zbd hadnt seen her for the month prior when she was being beaten and abused. Dont blame the social workers.. this poor child was left alone and exposed by the community, family, neighbours. Where were they? Why did nobody notice? How many more children is this happening to while we are absorbed in our own lives? Let's ne aware. Lets ask questions. Yes, let's be busy bodies if it can save a little helpless life.
