Why can't he just buy a super-yacht, a remote island, have affairs etc like any normal billionaire?
Why does he want world domination?

(536 Posts)The world’s most successful business man wants to support Reform. The Tories and Labour will be bricking it.
Thanks
But there is no NHS dentist here.
☹
I’ll PM you Allira, the CDS hasn’t been privatised in Wales.
The dentist was in Wales, Casdon.
There is a cross-border agreement with Gloucestershire.
That’s different to Wales then Allira, here the community dentists are employees of the Health Boards, not contractors like normal dentists. The community dentist caseload is usually people who can’t be dealt with in general dental practices, eg people with behavioural issues, phobics, etc., but ours have been making space for more children with dental problems too.
The community dentist has become private only here.
We have had to help pay for DGC to have dental treatment, £thousands. Not through neglect before anyone criticises.
Where I am children can be booked to see the community dentist based at the hospital if they are unable to get an appointment with a dentist - although we’ve got an NHS practice again now too so it’s not the issue it was.
I don’t think it’s fair to criticise a charity which has set itself up for a specific group because it the doesn’t meet the needs of another group, that happens all the time?
I do agree that dental services generally in the UK are in a dire state, and it’s not an issue that can be solved quickly either, we all know the score perfectly well.
I would think anyone wanting democracy would be concerned, FriedGreenTomatoes2.
Bristol:
The queues for a new NHS dental practice^went on for hours, days even; police had to be called to control the crowds.
Maria, 80, a local resident, told Bristol Live: “The dentist has been closed for some time. I couldn’t get into any of the other dentists – the appointments were fully booked, the waiting lists were too long.
“One of my neighbours – she’s facing an operation for cancer tomorrow. She’ll be somewhere in the queue. She’s also disabled and can’t stand for very long, but she’s had no choice but to stand.”
Does anyone know of a charity who can help these Bristol residents, please?
Hello?
What about the taxpayers then and their children? Anyone?
Silly me.
They don’t get preferential NHS dental treatment.
Is there a charity providing British children with dental treatment, I wonder?
Dental services in the UK are in a truly dire strait.
I didn’t say they did Casdon.
No charity with a mobile service available for UK taxpayers though who cannot get hold of an NHS dentist for love nor money.
Have you seen the queues snaking round the block if news gets out one is opening?

Asylum seekers are entitled to free dental care, the same as anybody else who meets the NHS criteria for free dental care.
A charity provides a mobile van which visits hostels.

Well thank you Jeanathome for your honesty.
It was me wot said it.
And lack of NHS is backed up statistically (please check, I am right).
So what I meant, perhaps badly expressed, is that UK residents really are struggling to access NHS dentists although newly arrived on our shores ARE provided with them. Quite honestly I cannot understand why you would report my post?
It’s factual.
Even though you may not like it.
Ought I to report my post here. … to explain? Before I get a bad mark against my name?
😱
I'm terribly confused.
There may be dentists but few of them are NHS dentists.
Children are being hospitalised because their teeth are rotting. There are queues hundreds of yards long (I exaggerate not) if an NHS dentist open up.
An HC2 certificate entitles asylum seekers to NHS dental care - but are there any NHS dentists?
What are the facts?
🤣
Guess!

Some of them concern the housing of irregular migrants …
And how to deal with the situation going forward.
And leaving the ECHR.Imo leaving the ECHR is lemming like. Why take away something that protects all of us not just those despised furriners that some people are so paranoid about
. That’s just what Musk et al would like: a country full of people with no way of stopping them from doing anything they like. Let’s get rid of trade unions while we’re at it, too, shall we, who obviously just exist to push wages up; nothing to do with working conditions, health and safety etc.
Hyperbolic nonsense.
Are you referring to my comment. Or your own?
Thank you Jeanathome, appropriate.
FGT set out very competent "manifesto" of "Everything thats wrong" and promised
Vote Reform if you want Real Change. It’s the only way now it’s gonna happen. Patriotic feelings are not unlawful
We are taking about some kind of ideological fundamental change in our mode of government here by announcing this. It's not a matter of little policy details on "this or that".
What some of us are asking for is NOT a complete manifesto of these details, or being fed this or that snippet, an equally competent reply
some honesty about what these patriotic feelings and Real Change means the broad sense.

What is strange is the way that so many people think that Reform are a ‘new’ party and are just forming their political aims when they’re just a party that changes it’s name a lot.

The evidence is in front of everybody's eyes.
Well, its certainly in front of yours 😂
I am very politely ( because this is absolutely paramount here)
saying I have reported this to the mods.
There are enough dentists (unless you happen to have arrived on our shores in a rubber boat)

“Reform voters, can you take the time to inform us about your party's policy on the NHS?”
Maremia good luck with that!
I’ve posed that question several times on GN and, essentially, either been ignored or told ‘Google is your friend’.
No-one seems to want to tell us exactly what ‘miraculous’ changes Reform UK PLC will make🤷♀️
I don't vote for reform but they have said they will look at the French model of healthcare.
How much more details can they give? They do not have access to the civil service to ask for reports etc.
Labour did not give details what they would do 4 years before the election so why would you expect this from a minor party?
I will not vote for a party until they say they will restructure the civil service as they can direct the ministers the way they want by saying that it's not possible.
How is it when ministers wanted the civil service back in the office but they refused.. who is running the show?
Maremia
So, Reform will bring 'change', but change is not always for the better. What positive change will Farage and co bring to the NHS? I don't want the system that operates in the USA, where my friends with CANCER would soon be bankrupt. Does anyone on here wish for that? Reform voters, can you take the time to inform us about your party's policy on the NHS?
Or does it not exist?
Reform have plenty of time to work on their policies
Labour had over 14 years to work on theirs and look what a pigs ear they’ve made of that …🤨
