I wonder why he is so 'concerned' about nations around the globe but not his own home turf, South Africa?

He left a long time ago- and his family were very probybly firmly on the side of Apartheid.

There must be records somewhere- I really want to know how and when he acqquired US citizenship, as he entered the USA as an illegal immigrant.

It's a very good article indeed Casdon. Asks how "official" Musks interventions are, and also later on looks at European reactions

"But the transatlantic fury might soon become a problem for Trump as well.

Despite his transactional instincts and desire to intimidate other leaders, Trump may need the help of American allies one day, and Musk’s antics are making it far harder for them to accommodate an incoming American president who is already deeply unpopular in many of their nations."

"Musk’s jabs might also cause problems stateside. They already look like a headache for more conventional US foreign policy officials, including Marco Rubio, the Florida senator Trump has picked to serve as secretary of state, and Florida Rep. Michael Waltz, his pick for national security adviser.

“I think it’s going to get very confusing very quickly. I don’t envy the career diplomats at the State Department, who are certainly going to have their hands full trying to figure out whose agenda they’re carrying out,” said Gorman.

Apparent conflicts between US policy and Musk’s business interests pose another complication. He has already sat in on calls between Trump and world leaders like Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose forces use Musk’s Starlink internet system to support their war against Russia.

Musk’s massive commercial exposure in China might also weigh heavily on Trump’s approach and may clash with the hawkish instincts of Waltz and Rubio, who are set to be part of the most anti-Beijing Cabinet in modern American history."

There an analysis on CNN today which is very interesting I think. Meanwhile Trump is posturing again about the USA taking over Canada.

It’s getting to be like a comedy show - except it’s not that funny. What a world!

I think Musk is just entertaining himself watching everyone's reactions. The way he played with Farage too. We're all just Musk's toys.

You could be right.
Perhaps he has a God complex.

That creature Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is a toad. He should get back under his rock.

No, he did not expose " grooming gangs" He jumped on a handy excuse to pedal his deeply unpleasant racist propoganda.

Well said!

Robinson is the kind of ‘patriot’ that could be found at the incited mob in the US smashing their way into government buildings when Trump lost the last election🤬in other words not the kind we want here.

Have reported the difficulty with a willow3 and Wyllow3 to GNHQ.
I had a troll that used my name, simply changing one letter of my name.
May not be this but at least they know.

Thanks babs

I’m not aware that Starmer has been engaging with Musk on X?

I don't think that engaging with Musk is the answer.. and could only escalate these accusations.. I think Starmer's approach is much more mature and sensible

But he has engaged. I really would have thought that the best way to deal with deranged accusations on Twitter/X would have been to ignore them.

I'm wondering why politicians are on these sites.

Kemi getting involved with Farage. Why?

Just ignore and get on with the job.

Yes, don't mention and move on.

Those friendly with him until yesterday have learnt the hard way. Stab in the back.

What a lot of nonsense it all is.

Musk, Trump, Farage and the like seem to have all the maturity of 14 year olds.

Quite so. And possibly it’s a combined maturity of 14 year olds. I’ve met a fair share of 14 year olds ever so much more thoughtful and capable than any of those three.

Is very concerning I know. I had this happen to me with a poster who said awful things about estranged parents, the polar opposite to me, with just the one number 0 changed to a O.
Will be vigilant and see if this poster posts again.

Having deliberately estranged ourselves from the EU, for the sake of so called Sovereignty- we now find ourselves with no choice but to accept almost anything from Trump and Musk, for survival.

Could you back that ludicrous statement with just one fact. 🤷‍♀️

Just common sense, really. Our economy is in big trouble and we have lost billions in loss of EU market. No other deals of any significance have been gained- so the USA is our only hope. I am surprised you can't see this as it is so obvious.

TR had 100,000 people at his last rally in London in August and has a million followers. For many years he has exposed the grooming gangs! Most of these followers support Reform too and would vote for them. NF should acknowledge TR's views but still keep him out of Reform. Now in his forties TR is not the thug he was supposed to be when he ran EDL in his twenties and is a true patriot routing for Britain and is not racist. My son follows him and keeps me advised.

Phew! For a moment I thought this had been posted by Wyllow3.

I feel helpless to know what to do about this. People who know me will know what I'm like to have posted but not others.
Help!

Sorry, but I completely disagree with you re TR. he and his followers are racist thugs. He wouldn’t have got involved in any grooming activity had the perpetrators not been Asian or black

Agree totally.
Stephen Yaxley Lennon is every bit the thug we know him to be. And this country does not need patriots like him.
