Just to point out that Brexit was never fully implemented and if it had have been this country wouldn't be in the decline that it is in now! The elected governments were too busy listening to the Quangos and unelected bodies instead of implementing what they were voted in for - this has to stop. We have been well and truly betrayed.

The selling points of Brexit were controlling migration, getting a “special deal”(cherry picking ) and better deals with the US and others, not realistic aims, none have been achieved.

Because of the problems wafer thin majorities cause, it is usual to require 60% approval for constitutional change.

Yes, the Leavers won, but talk about the people of Britain voting to leave is palpably not true, as those voting to stay and those who did not care either way, well outnumbered the leavers.

On those rare occasions when you get votes like this it is usual for a solution to be negotiated that takes account of the views of both sides.

You may feel betrayed Judy, but the majority of the population, those who voted remain, or did not vote at all, just feel dissatisfied that several British governments have made so little effort to reconcile the two sides in this argument andfind a solution that is good for all.

In percentages, that’s wafer thin. In actual figures, that’s an awful lot more people who voted than people who didn’t bother to vote which is why we are no longer in the EU.

It's not a question of 'unelected bodies' or 'Quangos' blocking the implementation of Brexit. What is true is that the UK's elected government and parliament have made compromises and trade-offs to try and achieve a Brexit that works for the country, rather than simply reverting to a pre-Brexit status quo.

The idea that a 'fully implemented' Brexit would have solved the country's economic woes is overly simplistic. Brexit was always a complex issue, and its effects are still being felt. It's possible that a more gradual or managed transition to a post-Brexit world might have been less disruptive.

As for betrayal, Brexit was a decision taken by the UK government and parliament after a national referendum. While not everyone supported the decision, it was a democratic outcome that was respected and implemented by the UK government. While it's understandable to feel frustrated or disillusioned with the process, implying that the decision was 'betrayed' by unelected bodies or politicians is unfair, unhelpful and untrue.

It most certainly does as he literally supports and talks to Nazi sympathetic groups like the AFD . He is trying to pull a fast one by saying it want a Nazi salute but he had just had discussions with the AFD . You simply can’t ignore these facts !

I am not sure how many people are aware of how many neo nazis were a part of the Jan 6 insurrection . Just so disgusting that Trump released them ( one is already back in jail) and another told a British newscaster he is loading up on guns .

The argument is about should we have an open border policy where anyone can come to the UK.

I believe we should have a control system that gives migrants permission to enter the UK, AND it should be enforced.
I dont think that is an unreasonable aim, whatever anyone else’s opinion I’m not going to change, so there is no point arguing.

I’ve travelled in quite a few third world country and most of the population would travel to UK if they could and Ive been chatted up several times. One was a young waiter at a hotel in the capital city. “ Mr David I come to the UK and be your house boy”, houseboy is common there, along with a maid and a guard too. He probably didn’t get paid but had got food and a decent place to sleep, I spent 15mins explaining that nobody has a houseboy in the UK, there is no chance of getting a work visa and life is incredibly hard for migrants, he is likely to be much worse off.

So no I do not want an open border policy, migrants are essential for the UK, they should obey the laws.

And we said at the time that Ireland would be a major problem if we left the EU but our words of warning were ignored even though they proved to be correct.
