Considering he appears addicted to court battles (and has the money to fund it all), who's next in the firing line? After all, what else will he do to occupy his spare time?

Ironically, he left the UK to pursue a private life.

This isn't News or Politics, it's just more nastiness about Harry.

It wasn’t only Harry was it. It was the Sun caving in to avoid the court case.

There’s another thread, with “real” info on this topic.

No need to use it as yet another “Harry” bashing post!

Already a thread about this - and as I anticipated, any old excuse for Harry bashing....

Unpleasant.

Harry said he wanted his day in court, he changed his mind,
it is justice that he,Tom Watson and others have won their claims

Ilovecheese Wed 22-Jan-25 12:38:41

It was the Sun that had a change of mind. The paper has admitted wrongdoing, no need for court.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 22-Jan-25 12:54:45

Yes Murdoch blinked first.

vegansrock Wed 22-Jan-25 15:09:34

Harry stood up the Sun etc as many other victims unable to afford the lawyers. They admitted wrongdoing and apologised and will pay £millions.

HS62 Wed 22-Jan-25 15:17:03

Just shows that he was right and correct at what Murdoch and The Sun were up to though. Imagine yourself in his shoes. It's an abuse of privacy no matter who you are.

Anniebach Wed 22-Jan-25 15:19:13

Or in Tom Watson’s shoes, his career could have been ruined

ViceVersa Wed 22-Jan-25 15:37:53

As I said, it's a victory for all those who were wronged in this way, whether it was Harry, Tom Watson or just ordinary members of the public. The fact that the Sun have admitted their wrongdoing is the main issue here.

As I posted on another thread, BRAVO to Harry and his fellow petitioners, for standing up to and defeating such a powerful opponent.
