The whole idea is so vague on details. And timing.

I was truly shocked to hear Trump talking about taking over Gaza - owning Gaza- and turning it into the Riviera of the Middle East, with Palestinians being resettled elsewhere (not in the US I imagine). My first thought was that he sees this horror as simply a lucrative property development opportunity. It’s beyond belief.

Trump is proposing ethnic cleansing with his perverse idea to make it some posh resort . What one built on the graves of thousands of people . I am appalled by those here that think that this is an ok idea . What has become of this world ? Luckily , this is being soundly rejected by the Arab world .

We know that Kushner has been planning this “re-development” for at least a year, and that to this end he has visited Israel numerous times.

This is the plan in action, that has been beneath the radar for at a minimum a year and almost certainly a lot longer.

Netanyahu is doing the heavy lifting of killing, maiming and bombing. Kushner will do the re-building - at a price.

This is Trump the property dealer at his most corrupt. The Gaza conflict has been no more than a convenient clearing exercise on which the USA - meaning Trump - will capitalise.
When I woke to this news this morning, I thought I was still asleep and dreaming. Now I know it was a living nightmare.

My heads fine thanks, many have been proposing that refugees from Gaza should be able to relocate it a place of safety Trump is saying they should migrate, Gaza with a population of 2 million is never going to be self sustaining Millions are migrating from many Middle Eastern countries, given the opportunity, many will take the opportunity.

If the Palestine issue was resolved it would save the US countless billions that they pay to Israel, Egypt and Jordan to maintain the armed stalemate, using that to rebuild Gaza seems better future than we have now. As for international law, Israel and US with others are ignoring it now, there is no penalty that can be applied to the US.

Is Trumps idea realistic?, probably more than a Palestinian state that lives peacefully alongside Israel

However millions leave their homeland every year to find a better life, there is no future in Gaza as it is it is never going to be sustainable with a population of 2 million.

Give Gazans the opportunity to migrate to the US, or any other western country most would take it. The alternative with Hamas in control is continual conflict.

But it is no one else’s to give away but the people of Gaza.

You talk as if breaking the law can be completely ignored.

If the population ‘cooperates” 😮😮😮. You are swallowing Trump’s rhetoric hook, line and sinker

How dare they be forcibly moved into a small area that has no potential to increase its size thanks to the sea being there and then increase the size of their population? Maybe they should have all been sterilised at the same time.Didn’t David Cameron once describe it as a concentration camp?
