The Guardian reports that Trump says all Palestinians should move out of Gaza

I would have thought that a different part of Israel would be more suitable to be developed. And of course there is the West Bank, but I assume that would need to be enlarged.
Obviously the Palestinians have got to live somewhere, and Israel has to accept that, because no other country wants them. If they continue to live in Gaza, as I expect they will, they will be living in tents for years because from my observations on news programmes, there are very few buildings left that could be lived in. Everything will need to be cleared and then rebuilt. It will take years.

It’s their home. It’s where they live. Where the hell are they supposed to go? Would you leave the UK because you didn’t support the current government? Or perhaps you think they should get on dinghies and try to come here ( methinks you wouldn’t be keen on that, would you..). Did everyone leave Ireland during the troubles because they didn’t support the IRA? Or are some races of people different in some way to others?

Surely it’s because it’s their home and the home of generations before them eazybee. If our homes in the UK were bombed but we could return we would, rather than face an uncertain future in another country where we aren’t wanted.

Annie are you saying that there is no incentive for Palestinians to leave because the food shortages do not appear to have been as severe as feared? I hope you are pleased about that, not disappointed.

Children and the elderly are much more susceptible to starvation compared to adult males, the latter are the Palestinians who were on the hostage release videos that I saw.

I saw many children, apparently boys, on the release videos.
And some, though few, women.

I’m trying to think of a previous conflict where an aid organization has overseen an arms build up and supported terrorists like this.

Considering what he has said recently, nothing is probably good.

We can't judge by the photos, it's a tiny sample.

I don't doubt the figures by the British Red Cross of the dangers of possible starvation. There are other key issues as well, which is the supply of clean water and consequences for disease.

I’m afraid it does suggest that UN employees were also working for Hamas.

The UN and UNRWA are not the same. UNRWA is an agency of the UN and works autonomously.
