No idea where anatomy came from 🤷‍♀️

I was simply giving information after a whole series of people here have just given incorrect information.

- KS had made a clear statement over a year ago long before an election was called and several posters clearly weren't aware of it.

He may be talking about this, he has done zero to stop men in women’s anatomy girls sports.

There are currently two teenage girls on 10 week bans from playing football due to them pointing out that the person on the team with a beard was a man…

He has made a statement and considering his previous history on this I am very wary of the Labour party's stance on this. That is different to what Trump has done, however we may view him.

Sorry Wyllow but that is only happening because of the brave women (and some men) who fought endlessly on this issue. Whilst Starmer talked utter shameless nonsense on the subject. I might have gritted my teeth and voted labour but I certainly wont forget their failure on the issue.

Keir Starmer backs ban on transgender athletes in female competition: ‘Common sense has to prevail

Labour leader says he supports governing bodies’ actions to ban transgender women having previously refused to take a position on the issue

Rula that's one thing I'm glad he did. Really hope KS follows him on this.

Yes, but I suspect KS is afraid of the backlash.

The one thing I support POTUS Trump on 100% is his

no men in women’s sports

KS should follow.

Yes, I was pleased to hear that he had done that and women athletes must be relieved.
This needs a rethink, perhaps new categories?

The next Olympics will be in Los Angeles which should be interesting.

I hope KS follows Trump in nothing but I agree, let’s hope Starmer follows our Olympian Sharron Davies and agrees trans women shouldn’t be allowed to compete against women

I follow Sharon Davies, I hope she wins her fight regarding men not in women’s sports.

Of course NO.

But as I have no intention to be kept to one word you may read this or ditch it. On another thread you may read my views on Trump, and I think that at least some of you may also note the similarities between Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump today. Trump obviously gets ideas to add to his own deranged self important attitude. Well let me see, Think you can take over someone elses country , decide what should happen to people who you are neither the leader of , or even represent those people ,with truth ,and just incite others to ignore the law and do as they please ,riding roughshod over others, Shout loud enough to encourage more lying despicable people to join you in illegal and appalling behaviours and perhaps he will decide to put his first concentration camp in Gaza!!

What an appalling type to be put in a position of power. Still if we are looking to see who else has told plenty of lies and made laws where he doesnt see that the law applies to him, Boris Johnson has little to recommend himself. What a world we live in at the moment when we have Putin, and Assad , and Nigel Farage. Even if you disagreed with them completely , you used to think that people were going into parliament to try and may life better for everyone. Thank goodness for friends and decent people I know personally, because looking at this lot , it makes me despair about it all

Thanks MayBee. I posted earlier that his businesses failed but didn’t give the detail you provide
He’s a snake oil salesman, a carpetbagger, not fit to run a market stall

If he runs the country as well as he runs his business empire - Yes

You mean like this?

Trump’s companies have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which means a company can remain in business while wiping away many of its debts. The bankruptcy court ultimately approves a corporate budget and a plan to repay remaining debts; often shareholders lose much of their equity.

Trump’s Taj Mahal opened in April 1990 in Atlantic City, but six months later, “defaulted on interest payments to bondholders as his finances went into a tailspin,” The Washington Post’s Robert O’Harrow found. In July 1991, Trump’s Taj Mahal filed for bankruptcy. He could not keep up with debts on two other Atlantic City casinos, and those two properties declared bankruptcy in 1992. A fourth property, the Plaza Hotel in New York, declared bankruptcy in 1992 after amassing debt.

PolitiFact uncovered two more bankruptcies filed after 1992, totaling six. Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy again in 2004, after accruing about $1.8 billion in debt. Trump Entertainment Resorts also declared bankruptcy in 2009, after being hit hard during the 2008 recession.

Why the discrepancy? Perhaps this will give us an idea: Trump told Washington Post reporters that he counted the first three bankruptcies as just one.”

It will become his and his families business empire if he is not stopped by the courts.

I’m not a LP activist and I’m not sure the OP is either.

Can’t we just ignore posts which don’t interest us?

This is a discussion, I will not be told what to comment on or how to comment!

This is an open forum not a dictatorship.
