Over here we call Musk's child his human shield. He always has him. Rumor is that the child's mom was not told about the appearance and is not happy. Could be true, I didn't care to research it.

And ny feeling in the nose picking is this, he is 4 years old so it's not that big if a deal and to be honest, I can't think of a better person to wipe a booger on then Trump.

Well, his parents were Nazi sympathisers, Musk is an unapologetic white supremacist, and undoubtedly Trump's call for 'white minorities' in South Africa who have lost their land to be compensated, is orchestrated by him, also he has been advising the far right political party in Germany.
So to those who didn't think it was a Nazi salute, they obviously don't adhere to the old - 'if it quacks like a duck....

Yes I think the child was just PR, trying to make Musk look more normal, less manic billionaire with Nazi overtones intent upon ruling the world kind of thing.
It didn't work.

I think FGT2 and HPQ have nailed it on the presence of the child. It's a well-known ploy in political circles to have a young child with you as people are less likely to be aggressive about your policies, performance etc. No-one wants to the journalist who makes the kid cry. Not sure, HPQ, if the presence of a child would deter a really intent assassinator. The child would just be collateral damage.
I thought both Musk and Trump looked a trifle unhappy about the interview but then we don't know what goes on behind the scenes with their voters. Perhaps there is growing concern among voters about their own jobs.

The whole scene reminded me of an episode on tv once where the old ailing King sits by while his wizard steps forward and makes decisions for him while those present all look worried.

The more Musk struts about, the older and less capable Trump looks. He is out of his depth, and was never very smart in his prime, to see him standing there talking about Bitcoin and such is pathetic, he obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. As long as he makes money, he is happy. Has anyone else noticed how little his freeloading family are involved in this administration compared to his last time? Maybe they are put out at being usurped by the 'favourite'.

I hope so.
