According to Trump on truth social.

Doesn’t he just love drama. Bloody fool.

Mind you😬😬😬.

I reckon he’s going to withdraw from Ukraine.

Trump is lying when he says that if the US is mining in Ukraine then Russia won't attack Ukraine, it's a smokescreen, the spoils of Ukraine's mineral wealth will be divided between the US and Russia funding Russia to further attacks neighbouring countries. Wake up, Trump is a fully committed Russian asset and ally and Starmer needs to realise pdq that Trump is not our ally nor his friend. Every act by Trump is driven by vengeance and personal greed.

I agree entirely!

Or withdraw from NATO. And the UN?
Or all 3?

He says NATO is not protecting the United States. From what exactly?

Well, his sidekick Musk has 'recommended' that the USA pull out of NATO and the UN.

Musk definitely has a hidden agenda from what I have read and seen of his actions.

Watch Mary Trump Media.

She knows her uncle and the environment he was brought up in and can tell us how and why he became the horrendous person he is. A warning at the end of one of her latest videos is :-

"If he can, in any way, profit from your death, he will facilitate it and then he will ignore the fact that you died".

He has many things in common with the Tudor King, Henry V111.

It would be interesting to read what our American Grans feel about the recent events.

Casdon Tue 04-Mar-25 15:17:17

It hasn’t happened yet, it’s tonight, his first big speech to congress. I think the announcements today are the precursor to the full Monty later.

Frenchgalinspain Tue 04-Mar-25 15:05:15

Definitely an act of double crossing in the plan here.

A note about NATO: The Spanish Military Base located 30 minutes from The Madrid Capital, for example: BRIC PAC does not house American Military Personnel. It is Spanish Military .. So, the members of NATO in THE E.U. as well as THE U.K. are not Americans. They have meetings with AMERICAN MILITARY (NATO BASED IN VIRGINIA) but are in THE E.U. they are NOT Americans.

So, alot shall depend on THE E.U. and Voting process.

Sounds to me as if this is a "plan for the slaughter" ..

My views.

AuntieE Now, Tuesday 4th March we know what his "big announcement" was: he is stopping help to Ukraine and has implemented his new Customs duties on imports from Canada and Mexico.

It appears one big announcement is duties, with steel tariffs for March. 'Special relationship' or not, I doubt we dodge his tarrifs in future.

My money is on his speech just being a self glorification of everything he’s done to date since he became President. The Dow Jones is tanking today after the tariffs were imposed, which will put the wind up a lot of the electorate, so it will be interesting to see how it’s received.

Camry1952 Tue 04-Mar-25 14:38:39

Here come more lies and evil self serving plans.

knspol Tue 04-Mar-25 14:36:48

Wasn't the US one of the countries that agreed to protect Ukraine from future harm from Russia when it gave up it's nuclear weapons???
I think Trump and Vance went into that disgraceful meeting with Zelensky with an agreed outcome - maybe Russia will only countenance peace if Zelensky is no longer in charge? Who knows what's been agreed between Putin and Trump. very good letter posted today from Walesi to Trump - says it all.

AuntieE Tue 04-Mar-25 13:46:37

Now, Tuesday 4th March we know what his "big announcement" was: he is stopping help to Ukraine and has implemented his new Customs duties on imports from Canada and Mexico.

There is not really a lot of point in our wasting our time trying to second-guess him.

It is anybody's guess what he will do next, as if there is any logical thought behind his decisions, it is not the kind of logic that sane people can follow.

He doesn't even seem to realise that the higher duties on imports from Canada and Mexico is going to harm ordinary American citizens.

I too hope Zeilensky will not sign anything with Trump, now or ever. Talking about signing - the Danish minister of Defence is in Helsinki in order to sign an agreement with Finland to train soldiers together and make arms deals for each country with an eye to what the other country is buying or using. The Danish King and Queen are on a state visit to Finland today, and it is no secret that Defence is one of the main topics of conversation.

Meanwhile Trump and Putin share $500bn of Ukraine's wealth between themselves and which country will be next Moldova? Poland?

I don't know I'm afraid MayBee70.

This www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyepG3Kdp-Q is a really good interview. Times Radio has some very good journalism at the moment.

I am mostly ignoring him today. I am up to my ears in my volunteer work and have to get stuff done for an event later in March.

I did see a headline, something about reducing the amount of nukes the US has. But I have not looked into it so I am unsure what is true.

He did say something about putting part of the federal reserve into crypto. I don't know anything about crypto other than most people lose money and it is an easy way to launder money from foreign agents.

Babs03 Mon 03-Mar-25 19:57:52

Trump just made an announcement about some kind of investment calling people just off camera great and the best.
We turned over onto the football, don't think this rates as his big announcement.

Well his nose has been put out of joint by the meeting Yesterday in the Uk with state leaders and Zalensky.. I'd say this is fairly normal retaliatory dramatics from Trump

Whatever he is announcing it will not be the kind of political statement one would expect from an emotionally mature adult.
It will be as damaging as it is risible, and he and his lunatic cronies will just love to see the mayhem that ensues.
If he had an ounce of intelligence I would say that Trump is an anarchist.

Will we even understand it? Most of his rants errrr speeches are senseless!

Just wish he was about to announce his resignation as President.

Or our planet!

I keep thinking about this as well.

www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/trump-u-s-mining-deals-in-ukraine-will-deter-future-russian-attacks/ar-AA1A7AW4

How serious is he about that.

I can never open MSM but the headlines were

"Trump: US mining deals in Ukraine will deter further Russian Attacks"

Yes.
He was saying that Russia would not attack the US miners in Ukraine. As that would be an attack on the US.
So that would protect Ukraine, by the US miners being there.

But a lot of the minerals are in Russian occupied territory aren't they?

AGAA4 Mon 03-Mar-25 15:41:49

This was from the BBC reporter in Russia this morning.

AGAA4 Mon 03-Mar-25 15:40:37

The Russian media are laughing at Europe and telling Trump we hate him and he should join forces with the Russia.
I wouldn't be surprised by any big announcement he makes.
